Blame the lockout if anything. If this was an 82 games season we would probably end up with a top 3 pick.

At least if the Warriors were keeping their pick I could dream about trades or someone dropping to #6/7. Now it's one late 1st rounder, most likely no major deals and a bunch of dead air until October outside of Summer League.
Something tells me it doesn't surprise Dubs diehards one bit that their team, out of the playoffs in 17 of the last 18 seasons, won at Sota to potentially spoil all the tanking they've done lately to hang onto their No. 1 pick, which is Utah-bound unless it's in the top seven. Said one rival exec: "Worst win of the season."

They are the only PGs, and Portland, Utah, NOH, and possibly Toronto could be looking for a playmaker.
Then its basically true PG vs. scoring PG. Poor man rondo vs. poor man Westbrook.

I'm going to laugh at you and others when Austin Rivers ends up being the best pg out of this draft..... You guys are letting the situation he played under fool you into thinking he is a 2 guard...... He's a scoring point like Rose but has tremendous vision and passing ability..... He's young and needs nurturing but. Jackson would be perfect for him and he's a coaches and former nba pg's son.
He'll be a 20 and 8 player and a future starter and star...... Great insurance for Curry and allows us to use Jenkins as a trade additive.
I'd take Sully over him but. Would take him in a heartbeat.
