Option 1)
He traded down after those picks were made. Lee was still on the board, and he was going in small margins while knowing what other teams wanted and would likely pick.
Option 2)
He got lucky and collected a bunch of assets (not just cash, there's picks there too) along the way.
If you're going to say it's Kahn's fault when a good prospect busts...just saying.
