Hope he just accepts it and moves on. Probably could have been much worse.

Tru, he should have been exiled.

7 games is getting off light.
First things first. Is Harden going to miss any games ? If so, the 7 games suspension should start after Harden plays 2 games full minutes.

Seven games isn't nearly enough. Should have been the entire postseason.
Eric Maynor is the worst basketball player I've ever seen.

Sorry to bust in and change the topic, but I caught the Jazz v Suns replay.
First Jazz game ive seen all season. Favors is going to be good.... Maybe not "Dwight Howard" good but definitely on the next tier of centres. And he could contend for DPOY in a couple years (knocking heads with Ibaka for the award, I love rivalries). Definitely should become a quality starting C/PF once they say goodbye to Jefferson.
How about that, making the playoffs and building for the future at the same time? Some teams have all the luck.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

It's interesting watching Jazz and Nuggets, side-by-side in the same division, rebuilding from their departing superstars, both having gotten excellent deals in the process.

It is a 7 game suspension(including play-off games). I am surprised it wasn't the whole play-offs, plus a few games at the beginning of next season.

They look like they are headed toward perennial play-off teams at this point. Denver is slightly better off at this point, but I think that Utah has the depth and salary flexibility to make a big move to make them a true contender.

It's a strange dynamic they have in Philly that I'm not sure works. Notice Iggy didn't play. Turner and Iggy and Jrue to a lesser extent are the same player/different size offensively. All of them are most comfortable with the ball in their hands and are not so good off the ball. I'm surprised Philly did as well as they did this season and don't see them as a team that's going to compete well in the playoffs.

Even factoring their recent 4-game win streak, Philly has lost 21 of their last 36 games. Collins managed to put together a very strong start using smoke and mirrors, but the overall lack of talent and chemistry on that team is starting to show. It wouldn't surprise me a bit if the Wizards had a better record than Philly next year.
Philly needs to make a major trade to balance that roster.

Also, this is a league where stars win games and currently, Philly has no star. The closest thing they have is Iggy who can't be counted on to win games. He needs to be the Scotty Pippen to Philly's MJ.
Problem is finding the MJ.

The Pacers won't get past the 2nd round of the playoffs.

None, and that's why no one takes them seriously as contenders. You can win regular season games without a team full of stars but very, very rarely does a team like that compete and win a title. Detroit is the only one that stands out and they were absolutely loaded and each player complimented the others perfectly.

So what do you guys think about the new flopping fines and the unions grievance?
I think the fines are a good idea but man whoever is in charge of them will be a busy bee.
Not sure about the legality of it though.

I think it will be fine as long as they only fine you for making **** up.
You can interpret the language as saying "It's not a flop if you are exaggerating a little to bring the ref's attention to legit contact. If you fall, stricken and whining, to the floor when nothing, in fact, has happened, you're getting fined."
Cause that happened often enough last year. You don't have to fine every flop.
