Don't they lose a pick by making the playoffs? Not that they need another lottery pick, although there are some guys that could help them mid-first round.

Yup its a good thing they made playoffs or else they would have 2 1st round picks.

So after tomorrow(provided we lose) we will be tied with NJ or TOR for the 7 spot. Then it comes down to a heads/tails toss and then we have to hope and pray no one from 8-14 leap frogs us?

I dont like our chances, but who knows, maybe we will be that leap frog team, for once!

My dream scenario is Warriors win tomorrow, forcing the Jazz forum to eat their words, and then with the 8th slot in the lotto we win a top 3 pick.

If all that fails I would love for Utah to bite on taking our 2013(unprotected) + our Spurs pick pick to reclaim this one back. I dont see us being a lotto team next year.

I am not willing to give up an unprotected pick. Pretty much ever. If Bogut and Curry go down we could be in the running for winning the lotto, and I want Noel in the next draft.

I'd much rather give the Jazz the 8 pick then make another dumb renegotiation of that awful Marcus Williams trade. It's already screwed us even more than it should have.

Duncan, Parker, Ginobili all sitting tonight...are they getting two games i a row off? They're still fighting for home court.

Even if all 3 of them sit, Spurs should be able to kill the current Warriors because they still have some nice players after those 3.

Spurs won tonight in what was probably the final game for Nash in Phoenix. Pop will rest Timmy, Manu and Parker tomorrow as well. They've already clinched the top spot in the West. They are still battling Chicago for top overall seed but I think rest is more important for them at this point.

Jazz have a "wink, wink" deal with SA to give your FO a taste of their own medicine.

NBA action it's fantastic!

What a clash of titans that matchup is going to be. Might as well be a NBDL game. Not sure who should be issuing refunds, but, someone probably should.
"Thibs called back and wanted more picks," said Jorge Sedano. "And Pat Riley, literally, I was told, called him a mother-bleeper and hung up the phone."

Last time we won a coin flip, the team who lost picked number one and we fell down to 6th.

Point is, coin flips aren't the end of the world. All it does is cause premature celebrations.

That's true, winning the coin toss only gives them a stay of execution until the lottery. Once we see that no team jumps ahead then it's safe.

The score tonight will probably be in the 60's.
