I'd do it but they would be taking back Blatche.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

This game and Wall's recent stretch of high assist games is why its a mistake to decide how good a 21 yr old is so early in his career. Look at Ves and Seraphin too. How many people called them absolute busts after less than a full season or two?
To be fair, as the de facto leading "worried about John Wall" poster, I was consistently optimistic about Seraphin and Vesely even as they struggled mightily. In the case of Seraphin, I've been quite high on him for some time. I wish I could say the same about Wall.
That being said, I missed this game and I'm very sorry I did. The box score looks good (and the assists and +/- are what's most interesting to me) but I've said before that can be misleading. What I'm really sorry about is missing Wall play without Crawford.
Without McGee, Young, Blatche, and then Crawford, all of the low BBIQ around Wall has been eliminated and that will be key to understanding his development. I remain skeptical but wins are wins even in this watered down version of the NBA.
Kudos to Randy Whitman, who's making a case for another real shot in the NBA as a head coach even if it isn't in Washington. He's pushing the right buttons.

It would depend who is picking third. If we could make a reasonable assumption that they weren't that interested in Beal (let's say it's someone like New Orleans), then I'd definitely do it.

That doesnt appear to be the scenario in play. It sounds like MKG is consistently #2 on the vast majority of boards (in response to the original post). I dont think anyone is trading up to 2 for Robinson.

A team like New Orleans might. Also, after the measurements are out, some team might be willing to trade up for Drummond.
