Our point differential is roughly 0, so our expected win percentage would be around .500.

Funny - it's hard to believe that a .500 team is virtually guaranteed to have a 5-game winning streak. I get it statistically, but I suspect the schedulemakers have a say there, since not all games are true 50-50 propositions. Home / away, opponent, and rest all come in to play on any given night.

I suppose we are so unfamiliar with winning streaks that they seem like spotting some exotic wildlife species on the way to work...

Yeah, I was surprised to hear Nivek classify it as a "virtually 100%" probability too.

Looking at last season's results, I note that Phoenix (40-42) won 5 in a row once, Houston (43-39) did it twice, and Philly (41-41) failed to do it.

I kinda botched how I posted that streak stuff. Win streak stuff isn't my work -- it's in a table on page 70 of Dean Oliver's book. In an 82-game season, a .500 team has a 91.6% chance of winning 5 in a row. They have a 100% of winning 3 in a row.

Wall beasting again! Wall absolutely dominates without having to share the ball with JC. It's like a night and day difference.

I hated JC even when he was playing well. At this point I'd give him away to anyone willing to take him.

This is going to be a Wizards blowout, but Morris Almond better relax and drop 4 or 5 shots in a hurry.

I still see a tightly wound up player out there.

It isnt Crawford.

Give it a break.

Its the team. Its Nene. Its Ves playing a lot better. I Wall adjusting to KS and Nene. It's Singleton playing better. Its them playing against easier line ups. Its a total package.

Get off the Crawfords nuts. They can upgrade or add to what Crawford does but Wall playing better is because Wall is playing better and the team is playing better. They did that with Crawford and Nene also.

And the summer.

Should be interesting to see if Randy can keep them focus with an early lead and this being the last game.

One thing Mo A is doing well is rotating on defense. I here him calling out switches. He's done a good job denying the ball to his man. He scored on a nice back cut.

He is showing much better body language. The Wizards are stretching the lead. He needs a three soon.

Nene is really quick with his moves. He is much better then I think any of us believed he would be.

I know he would be good but he is so coordinated and quick.

Him being on the team has single handedly completely changed what that are. His ability and vet leadership has a huge effect.

Wall is so much more happy with Nene. I also notice that Wall have special thing going with Ves. I get the feeling Wall really likes Ves.
