Johnny Kilroy wrote:so because he's a knicks fan, he's trying to sabotage miami, and if that means making **** up, so be it. that's a brilliant theory.

how's this: riley is unhappy with wade's eating habits, and as a result wants him gone. sound ridiculous? at least that theory is backed with evidence. the only thing backing yours is anger.

you're also forgetting this statement came yesterday morning, when both NY and PHI were tied and had two games left. there was no telling who would get the seventh seed then, and it's still not a lock now. it wasn't so long ago that the heat needed a game winner from wade to escape a loss in charlotte.

oh look I was right about Philly tanking today... everyone and their friggin mothers knew it was the Knicks and Heat in the 1st round LOL

and WTF ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT? And I don't see what's wrong with my conspiracy theory. Keep in mind conspiracy doesn't mean it's the truth.

Your example of Riley and Wade's eating habits... the same Wade who said he's in the best shape right now and has like 4% body fat and said he realizes he has to eat better and the greens. OH YEAH RILEY WANTS HIM GONE BECAUSE OF THAT.

omgawd liek, Wade now eating too many burgers, HIT THE DECK!!!!!!!!

Your problem is you made up a theory because you have nothing that can dispute SAS' report. And it makes no sense. If his comments are sabotaging, then the Knicks are doomed with everything he's been reporting on them lately. And his words carry a lot more weight in NY. You can't use speculation as the basis of your theory for your team, and dismiss it against someone who was not even their opponent yet. Again, what happened tonight has no relevance to SAS' comments. The 7th seed was wide open yesterday morning when he made them. A loss to the clips last night changes everything. He talks about Miami more than any team all year, why would you think he's just starting now?

Remember when he broke LeBron to Miami? He has Wade to thank for that. If you believe he's going to make up lies about Wade and ruin his relationship with him just to give the Knicks a perceived edge, that's your prerogative. I'm not going to waste my time arguing an unfounded, highly illogical opinion. I don't know who his sources are in Miami, but we know Wade is one of them. He's not going to jeopardize that for the Knicks, who have no shot at beating Miami to begin with.

He didn't break that story. He predicted. Broussard is the guy who had the contacts and actually broke the story. Pretty much everyone said everything that summer about where Lebron was going, some were wrong, some were right. I'm sure you can find SAS somewhere before that summer saying Lebron was 100 percent going to be a Knick too.

SAS is a windbag hack who throws **** on the wall to see if it sticks.

i like broussard, but the only reason he got credit for it was because espn wanted him too. they were at odds with SAS at the time and along with "the decision" they wanted to keep it in the family. you can't break a story when someone else a week before said "i'm confident enough that i'm putting my reputation on the line, dwyane wade has convinced lebron james to come to miami". that's not a prediction, that's a statement.

believe what you want, though.

I actually thought in terms of fitness, Wade was at his best since 09 when he was healthy this year. Credit to Ed Downs for that (who is NOT Lebron's trainer, so I have no idea what SAS is talking about). Bad luck + a little bit of age are to blame, but Wade's offseason training worked great I thought.

This is how I feel as well.

I mean Wade is 30 now and this was a compressed season.

I actually don't pay attention to who is training so I'll defer to your info and assume this is a non-story.

Don't see how switching to Lebron's trainer would be connected to Wade getting injuries regardless. Lebron never misses games because of injury (knock on a huge piece of wood)

Its not like he switched to Mike Miller's trainer or something.
