I have a few questions - may as well post them here. Apologies if I have missed them in the rules, I did read through twice just now though.

1. Is the contraction draft one round or multiple rounds?
2. Where picks cease to exist (e.g. SAS 2012 1st owed to GSW), is the draft simply shortened
3. Where I receive a bonus amount of cash (e.g. CHA 2016 2nd turned into $3m), do I just list under finances? Do we have a starting amount of cash to add this to?
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

Going to try and build around Durant.

Raymond Felton (11/3/7)/Nolan Smith/Johnny Flynn
Wesley Matthews (great 3 and D guy)/Jamal Crawford/Elliot Williams
Luke Babbitt
J.J. Hickson (15/8 in PDX)
Joel Przybilla/Kurt Thomas/Hasheem Thabeet

All OTB.

1. one round only, remaining players will go into 2012 FA pool
2. yes
3. yes and $1billion but...

I am now thinking it is pointless to list that $1bil and post the remainder on roster as nobody even with max stadium, relocation, renaming fees should get close to that unless fined up the ass and huge lux tax payments to boot. So just list expenditures under finance heading of roster page

EVERYONE except LMA is on the block in Seattle.

We are looking for length at the C position and great outside shooting to spread the floor.

Harden will be the next least likely to be moved but if an offer is just that good...

You will need to overpay to land Westbrook or Ibaka so be prepared.

San Antonio Spurs looking to get better.

Tony Parker / Gary Neal / Corey Joseph
Danny Green / Manu Ginobili
Stephen Jackson / James Anderson
Josh Smith / Boris Diaw / Vlad Radmanovic
Tim Duncan /Jason Collins

TP/Manu/Smoove/Duncan will be hard to get. Looking to move cheap guys like Joseph, Neal, plus cash and picks, for better big men depth
There is no consolation prize. Winning is everything.

Listening to all offers for the Celtics. Trying to build a younger team around Rondo. Everyone is on the block and Rondo can be had but the asking price is high.

Depth Chart:
Garnett/Hollins
Bass/Stiemsma/Johnson/Wilcox (out)
Pierce/Pietrus/Pavlovic
Bradley/Allen/Daniels
Rondo/Dooling/Moore

I would like cap relief + draft picks/young talent

New York Knickerbockers are open to anything.

Chandler and Melo are my core pieces at the moment.

Amare is movable. In the right deal, I could use the smaller amnesty on him to facilitate a trade.

Roster will be up by tomorrow night, depending when I get off work today.

Ok everybody, got my roster up, ready to make more trades!

Before I get started, I'm planning on playing this game a bit differently. I want to build a team that fits well, that is 9-10 players deep, that can contend but still has a future, has many 2 way players, with a slight emphasis on defense, and to make sure the players I get are good value for their contracts. I won't ever have players untouchable, and I want to always be able to stop at any moment and be able to have a team that can at least play (IE, not having 6 PGs and 1 of everything else, or something like that). Basically, I'm trying to think how a real owner would think, and it works because I'm, a small market, and not to base most of my trades off of getting stars.

PG: Devin Harris / Andre Miller / Earl Watson
SG: Gordon Hayward / Alec Burks / Raja Bell
SF: Wilson Chandler / Josh Howard / CJ Miles
PF: Paul Millsap / Derrick Favors / Jeremy Evans
Cc: Enes Kanter

So I've made one trade (Jefferson/Tinsley for Chandler/Miller) and I'm looking to continue to trade. I'm not ready to trade Favors yet, I'd like to see what I can get for the others first. Here's my block:

On the block:
Paul Millsap (17/9/2/2, .545 TS%)
Devin Harris (12/5, .566 TS%)
Josh Howard (9/4/1 in 23 MPG)
Earl Watson (3/4 in 20 MPG)
Raja Bell (7/2/1 in 23 MPG)
CJ Miles (9/2/1 in 20 MPG)

Available but not OTB:
Jeremy Evans
Alec Burks
Andre Miller
Gordon Hayward
Enes Kanter

Not looking to move ATM:
Derrick Favors
Wilson Chandler

What I'm looking for:
-Vet, scoring PG
-Center next to Favors who can hit the mid/long range shot
-More backup bigs (I'm weak at center)

Grizzlies looking to get rid of Zach Randolph, Rudy Gay, Mike Conley. Building around Gasol and maybe Mayo.

I've just been robbed of 1 Billion. I'm still listing it until my insurance carrier refuses my claim.

Atlanta wants to make some moves, have the entire original team minus Smith on the block.

Joe Johnson and Horford and Hinrich and Zaza and stuff.

also, strongly considering a push for win now, so if you have some older talet and want to drop it for Teague/2012 1st, maybe even Leonard...

Email those offers: hartford.whales@yahoo.com

Oh, and even if you don't have a great offer, feel free to help me test out Aim: hartford.whales@yahoo.com

San Antonio Spurs

Top priority for us now is to add either:

1) a younger Small Forward
2) a backup big to accompany Boris Diaw

The contraction draft could change this need of course, but let's start talking.

Available:

Corey Joseph - struggled for minutes but sonly 20 with all round skillset
Danny Green - 9.1 PPG, 43.6% from 3 (1.5/3.5) in 23mpg as starter. Efficient, good defender.
Gary Neal - 9.9 PPG, 31.9% from 3 (1.5/3.5) in 21.5mpg off the bench. Efficient, good defender.
James Anderson - struggled for minutes but still 22 with all round skillset
Stephen Jackson - 9/4 with good D in limited minutes. Can reduce his contract to $4m/$5m to facilitate trade.

$3m cash
2012 2nd
2013 1st & all draft picks thereafter

Tony Parker, Manu Ginobili & Tim Duncan remain hard to get because their age hinders their trade value. Josh Smith could be had but I'd want a lot as I think he's a great fit and adds a new dimension to the team. Obviously if names like Rose, Paul or Dwight come up then I'm listening.

PHOENIX SUNS - BREAKING NEWS

Steve Nash & Grant Hill are going to be moved to a contender.

Can't imagine a much better "win now" package.
