On Andrea:

- I think Andrea responded well to some of the things we challenged him on. He responded very well to the new coach coming in and having a direct line of communication with him. I do believe that Andrea proved a lot this year to himself, to us, to the new coach who came in with no preconceived notion but certainly a little bit of a history there and probably had comments and feedback there. But there were some unknowns. Defensively, he got a lot better and you might say it was the system, the coach motivating him, bottom line is he was better, more effective. I don't really care why it was.

He did not improve rebounding-wise but I don't know you're ever going to see Andrea rebound the ball real well, especially the way he's utilized. He's an inside-outside player, he'll be lifted a lot in a lot of sets. He's going to not always have the right mentality. That's something that if you talk about a guy like Ed Davis, he's got a nose for rebounding the basketball. Andrea doesn't have that nose. He's got a Roman nose but not a nose for the ball.

At the end of the day, we have a good sense of who Andrea is as a player. He's now 26. He's growing each and every year. He takes a step forward. That's positive in my mind. Thought at the time he was the right long-term pick for this franchise, still believe that, and we'll see where that goes."

I got that feeling too. He mentioned a hypothetical about using our cap to move the pick and bring back a big salary guy, or something like that, but it sounded like he was being intentionally vague about an idea he's put a lot of thought into. If that makes sense. I think he's already got a player in mind, possibly even been talking to another team already

I'm not sure if we're really going to trade the pick. If anything they'll look for a more experienced player in the draft compared to the one and dones.
