It looks like something from the 50s, when the coloured printer wasn't invented yet.

Adding Brooklyn does make it seem better, but are we seriously going to have our team colours be black and white?

Yes the colors would most probably be black and white have you been to there site? the opening page is a black and white blank shield and under it #HELLOBROOKLYN.
