Rough translation from NB earlier this month:

When you remind the NBA draft on which was selected by the Minnesota and the "siege" of journalists, which was then followed, Nemanja Bjelica only laugh:

- I felt like a dream. I was very happy. Of course I would like to be part of Minnesota. They have a lot of European players and their style of play is great, especially with Peković and Ruby this season. NBA is a dream of every player, but I am still in Spain Vitoria in my head I was just there. After this adventure, we'll see what awaits me. I hope to one day play in the NBA, said Bjelica.

He never said he doesn't like Pekovic. But I think he's another guy along with Derrick that can actually bring us back some value. Doesn't mean we're going to trade him, just that he's not completely untouchable.

Trading Pekovic only makes sense if you make an upgrade at center position otherwise why create a hole at center to plug the hole on the wings. Of course if it's a guy like Harden then it's totally worth it.

I think Wallace might have moved to the top of my list. Seems like a guy Adelman would love to have and really thinks we need. He could really change the the attitude in the locker room. He's a UFA so he can play wherever he wants. Maybe we got a shot as an up and coming team with some cap room?

1) Overpay for Wallace. $40/4?

2) Trade Wes + Webster + 16 for Kevin Martin (yeah I know people don't like him, but hey he's coming cheep and fits well b/t Wallace and Rubio on the wing.

3) Trade D-Will and Lee for Ibaka + Cook. (Does OKC consider so they can save $ to resign Harden? Williams is on his rookie deal for three more years and fits better as an offensive oriented four with Thabo and Perkins in the lineup).

Rubio/Luke/Barea
Martin/Cook/Ellington
Wallace/
Love/Ibaka
Pekovic

There could be concerns with how Pekovic and Love fit together and maybe they think they can sell high on Pekovic.

I am starting to think the same thing. Plus, they were together for 3 years in Sacramento.

i wouldn't want wallace personally, or at least he'd be at the very bottom of my wish list. he'll be 30 when his contract starts and will surely be on the decline mid way into his contact, to the end if he isn't already. he's had a career of nagging injury's in his early years because of his play style and i could definitely seeing that become worse as he begins his 30's.

i definitely wouldn't want to be investing that kind of money in wallace and martin as aging guys with a history of injuries...wouldn't mind taking a chance on an eric gordon because he is young and would likely remain very tradable in just about the worst scenario.

So you don't want Martin and Wallace because they're injury-prone, but you want Gordon?

Games played in last four years:
Eric Gordon: 205/312 games (65.7%)
Kevin Martin: 217/312 games (69.6%)
Gerald Wallace: 276/312 games (88.5%)

Wallace is the oldest and most reliant on his athleticism.

I disagree. He uses his strength and power more than his athleticism IMO. If Gordon loses athleticism, he's just a 6'3" shooter. Wallace has prototypical SF size.

Kevin Love + Pekovic = Best rebounding team. They both combined had 8 OREBs. There is no way you dump a player who plays 26 minutes and gets 3.9 OREBs. They should sign him. He is a good offensive player who shoots 60% ts gets 18.5 points and 10 reb per 36 and it is his second year.

Post players like Pek use their power and strength, SFs are more about athleticism or/and basketball skills. SFs like Pierce or Prince are examples of skilled players who can be effective when athleticism is mostly gone. Wallace doesn't have those skills so he still goes by athleticism. The question is how long it is going to last?

Wallace may be "old" but I'd rather get him than start Johnson or spend the entire off-season hoping Williams transforms into a SF.

Wallace is a vet, plays defense, and plays hard every game.

I would rather get Iggy over Martin, but if we got Wallace, I understand we would need a scorer of Martin's caliber.

How about Darko and Wes for Richard Jefferson? I know he's considered overpaid but he's a good player. At least plays well against us.

How about adding Delonte West for 3-4M on a one year deal, but that's only if we don't go for or don't get a decent young guard like Mayo. I know he's had off court issues but he really is a team first player that doesn't quit on his team mates and does whatever a coach asks him to do. He's a good decision maker with the ball in his hands, knows when to pass and when to shot and plays good off the ball as well.

I guess we'll have to agree to disagree.

I'd still rather have Iggy than Wallace. Even though Iggy is overpaid and more expensive, he's a better 3 pt shooter, a much better defender, he's a year younger, and he doesn't have the injury history that Wallace has.
