i believe in this team but i'm a realist. Many people outside of NY Knicks forums don't think we can beat the heat. The GB is practically laughing at us. Are they the f*cking crazy ones or the Knicks fans?!

Very true. Not only smaller-time market, but a fan base that just doesn't care nearly as much as Knick fans or even Cavs fans. Rooting for the Heat in Miami is like rooting for any team in LA-It's the trendy thing to do.

We've watched this team post the 2nd best record in the league under Woodson. We know how good this team can be. Opposing fans that don't watch a team aren't going to be able to understand this, nor should we expect them to. All they see is that the Knicks were fighting for a 7th seed with the likes of Milwaukee, Philadelphia, and got beat out for the 6th seed by a Dwight Howardless Magic team.

That doesn't mean that the Knicks should win the series, but I think it's very fair for all Knicks fans to at least expect a competitive series.

Anyway, as I see it, the Knicks have absolutely nothing to lose here. Get beat, and well, it was expect. Or win the damn series, and shock the world. Bigger underdogs have pulled upsets.

Funny thing about the ticket prices is that Miami prices would be even lower if it weren't for the influx of Knick fans driving up prices.
