I'm curious to see how this series evolves, I want to see how our guys adjust over several games according to match ups.

The first game is generally the one the lower seed has to win to take the series so we can't come out soft and get bulldozed. Love that we're back in the post season though, learning how to play important possessions in important game is crucial to the development of young players.

Jazz have nothing to lose, and aren't expected to win this game at all. I would love to see Ty start with the Jefferson-Favors-Millsap-Hayward-Harris lineup just to take a chance and see what they can do when the pressure is on.

Celtics fan here, obviously.
Wishing good luck to you guys and I really hope that you beat San Antonio, other than Celtics, who I love, I really like Jazz.

I hope we can take one of the first 2 games in San Antonio. It would automatically make this a tight series.

Also, we need Harris to outplay Parker like he did in 2006 between Dallas and San Antonio.

All the Jazz players are going to have to play out of their minds to even have a chance at victory. I would love to see a Jazz victory or two, but I'm thinking this will be a 4 or 5 game series. I hope I'm wrong though.

Glad the Jazz are still playing, the experience will be more important going forward for the team than a late lotto pick. Also, Corbin has the opportunity to learn from a master at work in Pop. I would hate to go into the post season next year with a very good Utah team led by a play-off virgin coach.

No idea what to expect. Close loss; complete annihilation; shocking win?

I'm going to be in the car, sadly, for much of it. Does anyone know if ESPN Radio will carry the game live (sadly, I'm on the east coast, so no KFAN)?

I think because they were upset last year hurts us, this team is hungry and they will come out and try to prove this isn't the same spurs team they will want to get a early advantage and not look back. So it's important we don't go down without a fight this game.

Playoffs and regular season are two different things entirely, we need to show we belong in the playoffs, we have to play as hard as we played all season to beat this team

Oh man today is hell for me. First day at a job (work from home) and I wont be able to watch the game, since I can't have distractions, especially today. I really hope we do well, win or lose, I just hope Utah makes it really difficult for SA. I am hoping for close games and stretching to 6 or 7 games. I just want to have something to look forward to next year. :-)

I am so looking forward to see how our guys react to the playoffs. I know Jefferson WANTS this, and Hayward is a winner, plus a guy like Josh Howard is probably hungry to be back here. Harris also hasn't been back in a while. I think we might fare out ok, not necessarily win the series, but we might be alright. :-)

If the Jazz can win 2 of the first 3 games they will win the series.

Just like the beginning of the year most underestimated the Jazz. Again most will underestimate the Jazz in the this series too.

Harris and Millsap need to have big games...... Harris needs to do a strong defensive job on Parker on those pick-n-rolls, sunce you know Al isn't really going to do anything......

Millsap needs to dominate Blair...... And somebody needs to stop Ginobili's penetration......

If we do those things, we've got a shot.....

Looks like Howard will be starting. I don't necessarily have a problem with that (though I don't love it), but if Ty scraps the big lineup to accommodate Howard and Bell's returns, I'm going to lose it. The local media loves to act like we were winning and making our playoff push in spite of those guys being out, but I'd argue that we were winning and making our playoff push because those guys were out.

Yeah, it was addition by subtraction. I can live with Howard, but if Bell starts stealing minutes (especially from Hayward), I'm going to lose it.

I will pass out if Raja gets minutes, highly doubt he will.
