13/4 isn't a high note, but if that makes you happy then go for it!

Yes it is, I forgot to mention only 1 TO in just 25 minutes. When you score over your average for the first time in a while after only scoring 8 combined in your last 2 games is a high note no matter what you haters say!

it was a serious question. when i think of "high notes" i think of his triple double, the night he had 11 assists, 23 vs warriors on 8/15 from floor etc... i would have considered his game last night to be average by his standards.

Well that is understandable but I don't see geting above and on your average in points and assist as something to feel bad about it ending the season.

it definitely wasnt a bad game. he defended well, played the off-guard spot well. shot was inconsistent. he struggled to get the offense going when augustin was out.

i just want to see him under a different coach who figures out a way to play to his strengths a little. that offense wasnt doing kemba many favors. way to slow, too much high post action. too much pick and roll (which he doesnt do well yet). kemba, more than anything, needs some shooters on the floor to help give him some space.

We have a lot of athletic quick guys I think kemba bismack and hendo would benefit greatly from a transition offense, but the very poor defense makes you rely on a half court offense.

That's a high note? Damn the bar is low lol

You guys see that he only shot above 38% THREE times in April?

Take the reigns, Kemba!

couldnt be less worried about Kemba's shooting efficiency, only thing it shows me is that Kemba Walker is not a viable 1st scoring option on an NBA team. But who thought differently? I'm pretty sure even he himself knows that. He aint Iverson...thats why Iverson was picked 1st in the strongest draft in NBA history and Kemba was picked 9th in a bad draft. I wanna see how he can play off of an elite talent. May 30th can't come fast enough

looks like Kemba just barely missed being in the top 100 scorers this year. 101 for all, doesn't show up in qualified players only.

EDIT: It's pretty cool that Kemba played every single game this season. This year was ugly for injuries all around the league.

Agreed, no matter how shaky his shot was or trigger happy he seemed at times he did still play hard and compete in every game and despite his shot was probably our most consistent performer.

I assume you did, based on your handle. Unless of course you like naming yourself after role players. I have nothing personal against the guy, by all accounts, he appears to be a nice person, but Kemba Chucker is what I said he was a year ago; a poor mans Nate Robinson. I am not a fan of undersized combo guards with no discernible pg skills; never have been, never will be. Package him, Maggette and Hendo to Boston for Rondo. Play Reggie at sg, sign Batum to play sf, or vice versa. Next season the lineup looks like this:

PG: Rondo
SG: Williams
SF: Batum
PF: Davis
C: Biz

Hopefully luck into Shabazz for 2013

You assume wrong, I just like rookies. Thinking about changing my name on carolinahuddle to something Joe Adams related. :D

I just don't like rondo as a player; his shot is worse than kemba's and it's not gonna improve much. Plus I think he has benefited from the cast around him and (ironically) his poor shooting that makes everyone lay off him allowing him room and little pressure to do the things he does well (dribble, drive and pass). I think we would give up too much to get rondo, and in terms of production per price I think kemba and Hendo combined are probably much better.

I seriously don't care that Rondo doesn't shoot well. He averages more than 11 assists a game, plays great defense, rebounds better than a lot of small forwards, plays with more firepower than everyone on this team put together, and is a really good leader. Sure, he doesn't shoot threes and shoots sub-60% from the FT line. Those benefits outweigh his shortcomings without a doubt. This team desperately lacks starpower. I'd trade Kemba, Hendo, and Maggette for him in a heartbeat. None of them will ever be all-stars. Hendo might come close one day, but Rondo is a surefire all-star year after year. He could get Davis (hopefully) and Biyombo involved in the offense with his passing ability. Without three hall of fame guys around him, his assist totals might come down to eight or so, but he's still the second best passer in the league behind Nash and the second best all-around point guard in the game behind Chris Paul. I would absolutely pounce on a deal to get Rondo.

its very easy to imagine Rondo as a guy that will have trouble replicating his current success in a different situation. i dont think he'd be a big difference maker on his own

I thought I was the only one who thought Rhondo was making the most of playing with three future hall of fame scorers.

You guys need to stop drinking the Kool Aid. Rondo is the reason the celtics are still competitive. He's brilliant.

i'm with crunk on this one. rondo is a stud. he would make any group of NBA players look good, especially 3 hall of famers. do you guys remember how good he looked in the game vs us when the big 3 didnt play? granted, it was against us, but still, he dominated that game.
