While they still are some of the most talented squads (if not THE most talented), people take for granted that teams like ManU, RMadrid, and FCBarcelona make mistakes just like any team. I personally love Madrid but it's annoying even when fans of Madrid just assume that they can destroy other teams because they have a more talented team. There's an element of unpredictability to every football match, even when you aren't playing strong sides like Bayern or Chelsea.

It's hard to win CL back to back. It shouldn't be a shock that Barcelona didn't.

IMO if you don't win your domestic league, you are not the best team in that league/world.

On paper maybe. But United have Fergie, and that's always a massive difference.
