The guy is a piece of trash. Solid coach with the right pieces but outside of that he has no moral or ethics and will supposedly would call for trades of players he didn't like (keep in mind he was just the coach).

don't forget when he was campaigning for the NY job while coaching the pistons in the playoffs.

Then started badmouthing players to the media, causing friction within the franchise.

Cal did the same thing when he first got to UK. Get rid of 3-4 scholarship players to make way for your own guys. Blame the NCAA- schools get to renew scholarships on a yearly basis, but if a player wants to leave the school gets to dictate where he goes.

Not nearly the same situation because the recruiting season is already over. He's simply throwing these guys off the team because he doesn't want them, even though he'll have no one but walk ons and junior college transfers to take their place.

Players get kicked off their college teams ALL THE TIME it's just not widely reported when they do.

Haha Larry Brown with the dictatorial power of a college coach is going to be fun to watch. I don't know how he is going to recruit anyone since most recruits are going to wander if he's committed to being there.

I really hope for Larry's sake he just stays in college for awhile. I think that's the only place left for a snake in the grass like that who wants to run every aspect of everything and has an enormous ego.

Still though his relationship with Iverson is one of the weirdest best things from that era of NBA hoop.

LOL at the posts in here. That's what college coaches do year in and year out. There could many possiblilties. The kid has behavior problems. Doesn't listen. Rebel. Etc. NUMEROUS things. Just because it's Larry Brown that it gets reported. C'mon guys. Having played in college I know this first hand.
