Wasn't Dennard supposed to be a 1st rounder at one point? What happened?

2012 6th and 2013 3rd.
Adams (WR/PR), Alexander(DE) and Norman(CB) today. Good picks for Carolina. They have had a good draft. Most Carolina fans seem to be real happy. Getting good reviews on ESPN and NFL Network. Wish I could hear the guys on Sirius NFL discuss it. Really value their opinions, especially Tim and Pat.

Mother **** Hurney. Always trading damn high picks for low picks.

I told you we'd get Norman. Adams seems pretty good too but I don't know anything about Alexander. I'll have to read up on him.

Bengals get Iloka. I really, really like what they've been doing this weekend.

Here you go Jaruff:
OVERVIEW
A two-year starter at defensive end for Oklahoma, Alexander could have some versatility given that he has been in a stand-up position occasionally. He has some girth and could be an option at outside linebacker for a team that could live with a pure rusher who doesn't cover much in the flats. Alexander is a high-energy player who uses his length well and could be a good rotational option at the next level. He should be drafted in the late rounds.
ANALYSIS
STRENGTHS: Alexander is a lengthy athlete and uses his arms well against the run. He sheds blocks well, is instinctual from a three-point stance or standing up, and is a natural player on the edge. He can make plays once in the backfield and is a solid all-around edge prospect.
WEAKNESSES: Alexander struggles when double-teamed. He might be a better fit as an outside linebacker in a 3-4 scheme; doesn't bend real well and gets stopped in his tracks when overpowered. It takes time to get his big frame moving.

Is it weird that I can't believe that Rex Grossman made a roster over John Beck.
Also, stop beating this RG3/Cousins storyline to death.

No, and he shouldn't either. Even Chad Pennington laughs at his arm strength.

Kellen Moore. Nope, he's still on the board.

Re: The Draft Thread
Question for the experts -- any chance that Pittsburgh finds a CB in the 7th round who can contribute? They have no 6th round picks, but 4 in the 7th.

Why has Chris Polk not come off the board yet? The man is a workhorse.

Good line, and true too
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

Lacks burst and vision. Never saw much in him, generic back. Having said that, watch my Lions take him.

Re: The Draft Thread
I remember some guy telling me that Kellen Moore has a strong arm because of that bomb he threw to Titus Young. The same play where it only went like 45 yards and he had a huge running start on the release.

But Kyle said Beck was a top 10 pick at one time ...
Maybe that's why he isn't with the Texans anymore.
