 You are stupid stupid man

This is way you always try to make playoffs. You never know what is going to hapen. And after Bulls we would play old Celtics or average Hawks in 2nd round. Stupid tankers :banghead:

Lol at you calling anyone stupid. Have you got money on Philly winning the series now?

He wrote off winning anything after we lost to the Knicks, who are the 7th seed. But I'm an idiot for saying we can't beat the team who held onto the 1st seed without their best player.

Rose doesn't tear his knee vs the Bucks. The Bulls would of been up a lot more than 12 points against us.

Even if he did, the Rose-less Bulls still would kick our ass in 5 maybe 6 games.

6:03 Baron Davis bad pass (Chris Bosh steals)

5:33 Amare Stoudemire traveling (Good job, Amare).

5:03 Baron Davis offensive charge (LeBron James draws the foul) - Obvious

4:15 Amare Stoudemire offensive charge (Shane Battier draws the foul) - Great play by Battier, obvious charge

3:32 J.R. Smith lost ball (LeBron James steals)

2:34 Tyson Chandler offensive foul (LeBron James draws the foul) - Obvious offensive foul. Chandler jumped into him and extended his forearms after contact. Dumb play. Miami was up 40-29 at this point.

When the flagrant 1 was called on Chandler it was 45-31 MIA. Was it a flagrant? No? Was it an obviously stupid moving screen in the open court. 100% yes.

In the NFL, getting a guy off the field when the game is in hand has some merits. Violent hits are common. But in the NBA, these guys are playing basketball all week long, both on the court and in practice. This type of thing could happen at any time. If you get to a point where you are nervous your star might get hurt when he is on the court, I think it will ruin the guys confidence and effectiveness.

In the case of Rose, people have been speculating that he makes too many sharp cuts and has been an injury waiting to happen.

Some guys have naturally well designed muscle structures in the feet and knees and some guys have structures that are less than optimal ala Mike Redd. We will find out with Rose if this was a one off or the start of major problems.

Collins took a TO at the 3 minute mark and went with a lineup of Jrue/Lou/Meeks/Young/Hawes (again, while down 16).

For those scoring at home, that is 2 starters, and one of those starters only plays 25MPG in Meeks. Holliday is the only guy out there that averages real starter minutes (over 30 MPG).

What Thibs did to the reigning MVP is indefensible. Hell, putting Boozer back in at the 3 minute TO is indefensible!

Not only has Thibs ruined this season for the Bulls due to his stubbornness, he's potentially ruined the Bulls in the "Rose" era for playing him in minutes he should have not been playing. When a guy is coming off injury, you sit him at the end of decided games FFS! He should have been looking for any opportunity to sit him at the end of games given his recent injuries. Instead, Thibs rides him and (potentially) **** destroys the franchise.

He's a great coach, but he could have easily just set that franchise back at least a decade by playing Rose in minutes he 100% shouldn't have been playing anyway. What an idiot in that regard.

I guess you better tell Stan and Mike, everyone I watched the game with, and everyone on general bball boards all over the internet that the first half was officiated well.

I'm talking about Carmelo posting up on Lebron and he barely touches him and Lebron goes flying. I'm talking about JR Smith raising his arm and Lebron goes FLYING again.

Are you serious with the bolded comment? I speficially said I do NOT think NY would have won or that it would have been a close game. Learn to read and get a **** clue before you quote a post and act like an idiot.

I can read and I think it has been established that I have a clue.

I'd be happy to argue with people who don't think I have a clue about anything basketball related (all while doing the Dr. Zoidberg dance).

As for the argument that the foul on LeBron was called a flagrant 1, so what? They were already down 14 at that point. Even if it is only called an offensive foul (which it obviously was), it doesn't matter all that much.

I was going to break all this down, but it is a huge waste of time. Note all the turnovers by NY. Note the shots made by each team. At most, the refs had an effect on about 6 points during this stretch, and that is debatable.

For what its worth, Derrick Rose will never be the same. He got injured at the worst possible time of the season in terms of recovery, and so much of his game is reliant on explosiveness that I don't see him having when he comes back. It's a shame because this Bulls team was poised to compete this year and for years to come.

I agree 100%. But, like I said with Howard, we'll see how 'great' these guys are when we watch how they change their games? Will Rose really work hard on a jumper now?

Sorry for him. Poor bugger. His agility will be shot now...

It was a flagrant 1. Big whoop. Man up and get the **** over it. Bad calls like that happen all the time in the playoffs. It is 2 FTs and the ball. It isn't game over, FFS. Frankly, it was a hard foul (right after a hard screen on the previous possession) and a great sell job by LeBron. Chandler was an idiot to set an illegal screen like that right after he had just been called for an (obvious) illegal screen on the previous possession.

As for Melo, he was completely outclassed by LeBron. Melo looked like a JV HS kid during meat night against the varsity. Spin it however you want, but he looked like he was completely out of his depth from the 1st minute of the game (even before people could start blaming the refs).
