Game 1 tells a lot about the series.

"Upset Special" by Sir Charles Barkley :D

Swear a god it feels like we have a legit chance this time to me.

Can't buy a bucket right now. We really need to make a move for an outside shooter this off season.

Games like this is where I'm really for trading Lawson for a lottery pick this year. I don't think you can go anywhere with such a inconsistent point guard.

GK needs to get Brewer on Kobe more in Game 2, Andre Miller and Ty Lawson have no chance against him. Brewer is longer and peskier and will make Kobe work harder for points.

Assuming Kobe plays 40 minutes, have Afflalo on Kobe for 30 minutes, and Brewer for 10 mins.

Plus, Brewer scored 11 pts in 22 mins, attacked the rim, shot well from three point land, played great defense on Blake, Sessions, Kobe.

There is no reason why Dre and Ty should be guarding Kobe when we have Brewer on the court.

Team played with jitters the whole game. Gallo addressed it on the point " We were thinking too much" on press conf.

Javale had his playoff virginity game, Ty were nowhere to be found and was not even trying, probably much to do with rest of the team being in total disarray.

GK doubling tactics has not worked for a whole season & i doubt it will change in the next game where i would take my chances on Single coverage on Bynum with McGee/K2/Mozgov in this order to make him work and let him spend the energy and live with the result rather than doubling and giving LA easy open shot. Not worried about Kobe at all believe it or not. AAA's D on Kobe was superb and Kobe knows it but it is necessary to relieve AAA with Brewer for about 10 minutes on Kobe.

Ty needs to be really REALLY aggressive and run it hard and if LA defense gets back just keep attacking it before they set and plant in the paint, go for the body for hard contact and fouls early is our chance.

I feel like Ty going off is the best chance for us to steal this series. It was very disappointing to see him completely disappear. There is no reason he can't kill this Laker team with his speed and yet he has been pretty bad all year against them.

The problem is the Gasol-Faried matchup on both ends of the floor.

Defensively, Faried is a good head smaller than Gasol. Gasol can do whatever he wants, he can pass the ball over him, post him up, destroy him on the glass.

Offensively, Faried doesn't provide good spacing, because he doesn't have a jumper. This allows Gasol to play closer to the basket, clogging the lane, and thus not allowing Ty, AAA and Gallo to drive.

Solution? Play Gallo at the 4 and Al as a starter. Offensively, this forces Gasol to play on the perimeter, offering a better mismatch and better spacing. Defensively, rotate Al and Gallo on him, and hope for the best. Play Faried with the Brewer+McGee energy unit, when one of two LAL's bigs is out.
