All we need is 15 more games with this kind of effort and intensity. 15.

that's interesting..what exactly did he say? anyone got a link?

It was just the fronting the mid and high post. Miami never fronted anything but the low post in the regular season. I'm sure our coaching staff will be anticipating the Knicks will make some adjustments (they made none during the game) and have something set up for that. The obvious thing for the Knicks would be to use Melo as a screener, and then when his man steps up on the ball-handler, have him role to the mid-post to establish position. Miami would have to be really aggressive on the ball-handler to deny him the passing lane, otherwise likely that 'Melo would get the ball in his sweet spot.

I don't think they could adjust to it yesterday because BDiddy was in foul trouble, and they have no other ballhandler. I don't know if JR knows how to run the pnr. He sure didn't look too good when tasked with being a primar ballhandler.

I'd like Rio to be aggressive and try to put some fouls on Davis again. Baron's never gonna be his old self, and he has to foul Rio or get help. I think Rio can be aggressive this series and continue to get good looks and lanes on Baron. PEACE.

Haha, naw, it'd have to be whoever is guarding Melo. So Battier or Lebron.

Yes, the officials are to blame for the 27 turnovers and 35% shooting.

Let's all blame the refs.

Let's all put our hands in our throats and say you should have won the game.

im not even a knick fan. im just saying mia fans celebrating like it was actually their def. this game was so badly officiated other nba players were laughing.
when chalmers has the same amount free throws as melo, or lbj having more free throws then the entire knicks team in 3 quarters is disgusting.

How many times did Melo drive to the rim? Yeah you didn't notice it even once did you?

I hate it when people use their ignorance to push stupid conspiracies.

Melo was kept out on the perimeter by LBJ and Battier. If he didn't get more FTs how is that the refs fault? Or is he suddenly entitled to a number of FTs in every game no matter how it pans out?

Geezus!

No need to even argue with knicks fans, the heat are a completely different beast in the playoffs, the energy and whats on the line is when players like lebron wade and bosh turn it up, it happens with every team and when the intensity level goes up the best players become out of this world and we happen to have 3 on this team, now lets get it

Carmela and Amar'e are 2nd/3rd tier players. Top 20-30 players.

Won't carry you past the eastern conference, let alone the 1st round.

I mean I agree with the "wont carry you out of the conference" deal but can you really name 20 players better than Carmelo?

He didn't CHOKE, we LOCKED him down

Everyone wants to point fingers at Amare or Melo. They got a **** hand. 1st half of the season they had a fraud for a coach, media frenzy over the new kid, and most importantly, they got the Heat in the first round.

It just sucks that sports media is the way it is. When they can spin a story, they merry-go-round the **** out of it. If we faced the C's yesterday and blew them out, would people be calling for Doc's head? Trade Rondo? I doubt it. Wanna know why? The C's are a respected franchise, not one that they can easily d*ick around (the same way they have to the Heat & Knicks as of late).

The fraudulence & shiestiness of these guys (*cough JB cough*) just sickens me.
Yeah Baby!
