PDX and DAL have a trade to announce.

PDX outgoing:
Brandon Bass $4,250,000
Chris Andersen $4,234,000
total: $8,484,000

DAL outgoing:
Brendan Haywood $7,624,500
Dominique Jones $1,193,280
total: $8,817,780

Haywood is a legit starting center, doesn't make too many mistakes and is sound defensively.

Pacers Trade: Tyler Hansbrough $2,138,040

Heat Trade: Joel Anthony $3,600,000

Trade is within 5 million so it works. Pacers do it to get a real Center

and with this comes our 1st fines of the game...

$500k for not following roster rules - to be listed under your finance section.

You had your free pass with the first trade BI asked you to update and have now posted a second without doing so.

and our 2nd fine of the game goes to PDX for posting 2 trades at same time after already getting free pass.

with 2 seperate deals the 2nd would not have had updated roster.

Dallas uses up their free pass and must list team salary with and w/o options for 2012/13 and 2013/14 before trade is approved.

Milwaukee and Miami have a trade to announce.

Bucks outgoing:
Brandon Jennings - ($2,493,720)
Ersan Ilyasova - ($2,541,000)
MIL 2013 1st
MIL 2014 1st
Total = $5,034,720

Heat Outgoing:
Russell Westbrook - ($5,084,216)
Total = $5,084,216

The Bucks do this deal in order to acquire who we feel is a bonafied star in the NBA. Russell Westbrook is the closest thing to Derrick Rose that there is, and he doesn't get hurt. We wish Brandon and Ersan the best, and hate to give up two 1sts, but to land a star like Russell is worth it to us. Good dealing, South Beach.

San Antonio Trades

Jan Vesely - $3,065,040
Cory Joseph - $942,700
Vlad Radmanovic - $854,389
Total = $4,862,129 (*1.25 = $6m - deal works)

Memphis Trades

Tony Allen - $3,150,000
Dante Cunningham - $2,090,000
Total = $5,240,000

We do this to improve our perimeter D.

Grizzlies accept. No room for both Allen and Mayo. Get an atheltic young 4 prospect who can run the floor and a pg prospect for the future.

make sure and read the rules in the 1st post of roster thread.

You are missing...

Team salaries both with and w/o options for 3 years
Finance, Signings, Assets, headers
Money spent on relocation/renaming

This will be your one free pass

#24 TOR-PDX

Portland trades:
Tyson Chandler $13,107,838
Iman Shumpert $1,563,120
= 14,670,958

Toronto trades:
Evan Turner $4,947,840
Jerryd Bayless $3,042,280
Amir Johnson $5,500,000
Rights to Jonas Valanciunas

= 13,490,120

13,490,120*1.25= 16,862,650

Trade works.

why? We do this because a core of Wall-Iggy-Chandler is sick.

Jonas will be the 2nd player in his draft class after Irving. Elite ET shooter, pick and roll defender, and a massive body that can play both ends well. Oh and he's under 20. Amir is a very good role player that belongs on a winning team, Bayless is a nice spark off the bench. Turner is an interesting asset, and a player we like a lot.

New York trades:

Deron Williams - 16,359,805
Steve Novak - 854,389
Jared Jeffries - 854,389
2012 BOS 2nd

Seattle trades:

Steve Nash - 11,689,062
Serge Ibaka - 1,288,200
Reggie Jackson - 1,156,320

14,133,582 x 1.25 + 100,000 = 17,766,977.5 > 16,389,805 (Min. salaries do not count as incoming in trades)

Obviously, trading Deron is a risk. But we feel like the opportunity to acquire the best offensive point guard in the league (who we feel has 3 great years left at the least) as well as the most promising defensive, young big man in basketball was too great. Steve completely changes an offense when he is on the court and has been basketball's best for years now. Serge is a monster in the middle, altering and blocking shots better at a rate that no one else can. His instincts are superb and he will only get better.

Seattle accepts this trade.

We have a pretty full frontcourt still and Deron will have considerably more time left to play in this league.

Milwaukee and Portland have a trade to announce.

Bucks outgoing:
Monta Ellis - ($11,000,000)
Russell Westbrook - ($5,082,416)
Stephen Curry - ($3,117,120)
Ekpe Udoh - ($3,294,960)
Total = $22,494,496

Blazers outgoing:
Kevin Durant - ($15,506,632)
Brendan Haywood - ($7,624,500)
Jeremy Lin - ($762,195)
Total = $23,893,327

The Bucks give up a TON on talent here, but this is the kind of bold move that our fan base needs and deserves. With this one move, we bring in arguably the best player in the NBA in Kevin Durant along with the electric overnight sensation that is Jeremy Lin. Under new head coach Mike D'Antoni, we feel like our new core can compete in the East. Plus, now we have a big man rotation that can match-up with ANYONE defensively in Gortat/Haywood. Good dealin.

Westbrook was arguably better then Rose this season. 24/5/6 and a better decision maker compared to last season = superstar. Curry/Ellis is a package that could net me quite the haul, and Udoh is C depth. Hard to lose Durant but for this value, it was worth it.

#27 TOR-BOS

Tor trades:

John Wall $5,530,080
Craig Brackins $1,404,960
Salomon Alabi $830,000

= $7,765,040

Bos trades:

Amare Stoudemire $13,217,705
Avery Bradley: $1,524,480
Gerald Henderson: $2,250,600

= $16,992,785

Difference: $9,227,745
Works cause Toronto is at $41,900,679 and has around 13 mil of capspace

Why for Tor?

Star Power. Amare/Chandler is nice plus we have another deal on the line where we will get our PG.

Trade accepted. We didn't like Amare's fit without a pass first point. Not sure how he, PP, and KG would've worked out as well. We clear out some cap and pickup a future star in John Wall. He will be our franchise point for many years to come.

Great dealing Toronto.

#28 TOR-PHI

Phi trades:

Jrue Holiday $1,741,440

Tor trades:

Iman Shumpert $1,563,120
2012 1st TOR

Why? Pick could be high, but we needed a PG to build around. Phi had no use for Holiday and gets good value. Obvoius deal.
