accuscore had us 10%, now we are at 40%. that means, computers give us 40% chance on advancing to conference semi finals.

Essentially discredited our winning the game and credited them to playing down and losing. Says they don't have to change anything to beat us.
I mean, I can see his argument and it's good for him to transmit confidence to the team, but IMO being too cocky is more dangerous than being too humble.

He was also miked up during Game 1 and said some pretty stupid stuff about the Magic in the huddles, very dismissive stuff. Serves him right.

Part of me is feeling like Stan is going to bring out the Ish, maybe not game 2, but some point in Orlando.

The team that wins game one wins a series 80% of the time. So ...

He must recognize the pressure that Indy placed on Duhon. They pressed him and trapped as much as they could, knowing very well that the guy can't dribble. I'm convinced that if Ish had played instead of Duhon, we never would have lost the lead in the second half.

Not surprising he would say that. I was making a point of it in the last game thread on how arrogant and blind he was in regards to the situation. Dude seems to be more of a cheerleader than an actual head coach.

To be honest, this is great news for our team and for Stan. I know we are going to make adjustments and tighten up the mistakes we made in game 1. If they are going to stand pat and just think their "talent" is going to save them, then it plays right into our hands. LOL @ him saying his team played down to us. What does that say about his coaching skills then?

This.

Duhon needs to continue to do his celebrations on the bench on a permanent basis. He is very elite at that.

Am I the only one who absolutely despises the way Frank Vogel talks?

I understand that I'm nitpicking here, but everyone else has the analysis part of the game covered, so I thought I might instill some hyperbole in this mug.

Seriously though, dude's inflection reminds me of me when I was in high school. Back then, I wanted nothing more than to be several stronger shades of dark tan, with a pick in my hair and a gap in my front teeth.

(Yes, I know, I was an idiotic quasi-racist... but not gonna lie, I was pretty fly for a white guy).

Same. Duhon's performance was ridiculous. He had to have Big Baby, Ryno or Clark run interference every time up the court because he couldn't handle even the lightest of pressure. Embarrassing and should be an eye opener for SVG. If Pacers put an active defender on him, get him the F out of there.

Quote from the O-Sen:
The Magic have won six consecutive games in Indianapolis: five in the regular season and now one in the postseason.

In Vogel's postgame presser Saturday, he sounded pretty lame. He used the phrase "that's the game of basketball" about 97 times.

I went back and watched the entire game again and BBD won that game for us in so many ways. Everything he did contributed to the win and helped get everyone involved. The series rests on his ability to play a lot of minutes.

Is there any scenario that we wouldnt be better getting duhon the F out of the game?
He even contributes more on the bench.
