I've come to realize Zuffa press conferences are mere suggestions.

Aldo - for sure fighting in Calgary. Wait, now he's fighting in Brazil.
Silva/Sonnen - It's in front of 80.000. Wait, we'll fly him down to insult the country more and hype the fight, then move it to Nevada.

That's just the last week. lol

Big fight for Calgary. Kind of surprising.

You get bet your bottom dollar this fight will have some rough boys in attendance.

The Fort contains a lot of dudes with a ton of cash, not many chicks, and surrounded by a lot of like-minded guys, and they're going to be coming for the drive.

Expect beer to be pounded at high levels. lol

^ Yep. Not enough money in the world to entice me to watch MMA live in Calgary. It's going to be an unrelenting douchefest.

Aldo vs. Koch is going to be on this card, not Brazil. Apparently Aldo needs the extra time.

With that news, I would be surprised to see Jones/Hendo remain here.

UFC on Fox is on August 4, so it could end up there.

UFC 150 is in Denver on August 11, but Bendo/Edgar has already been tapped for that show (though nothing is official). Maybe they go for 2 title fights on UFC 150, but having 2 title fights on a show in Denver seems a bit weird (as it would in Calgary). Could also flip flop the fights and put Bendo/Edgar on Fox and Jones/Hendo on UFC 150.

muay thai clash.

I favor Shogun by...being better. Although if he's still eating out of a straw from the Hendo fight, that may change.

Alves vs Akiyama? way to send Sexy out of the UFC in beatdown style. ouch.

Shogun has had a lot of time off, and hopefully he is fully healed, motivated, and healthy going forward. i don't like my Shogun's gassed or slugglish...

Weird that this card is getting (or is rumoured to get) so many Brazilian big names.

Aldo, Shogun, Big Nog, T. Silva, Alves.

Must be really trying to get that one Brazilian guy in Calgary to go.

I see Shogun vs. Silva as a mismatch.

I would've liked to have seen Silva fight Rampage. Rampage always complains about not fighting guys that fight like him, and seeing as how it's his last fight, why not let him fight someone else that is slow and will stand there and trade with him?

I would've liked to have seen Shogun fight Rashad or Gus.

I approve. This frees up Akiyama for a shot at Condit's belt.

This could be a card of the year.

What in the hell is Koch's game plan? Aldo is a destroyer.

We got any Prairie people out here? Anyone thinking of going?

I noticed that. Americans might not want to fight in Canada for tax reasons? Brazilians have to travel to NA anyways?

Brazilians have set up a few MMA gyms in Canada as well for some reason. Respectable fighters/ trainers like Andre Dida. There's a new Chute Boxe-affiliated gym in TO as of last month, in fact.
Hi love, bye love, I will miss my love.
