Re: 2011
SAF has lost his touch.
I don't understand why he puts out this kind of lineup in this type of match. United attacked for the first 15-20 minutes but decided to bunker the last 65-70 minutes. There was no legit threat to any of their attacks today. They deserved to lose the title to City.

Re: 2011
I think SAF deserves credit for taking this United team to the brink of a title against a team like City.
I think their transfer policy, whether it was Fergie's call or the board's, is too blame. They desperately needed a central midfielder, and then Vidic + Fletcher + Cleverly went down, it's really surprising that they managed to stay in the race with City.

I just accidentally clicked your sig, and realized it linked to Neville's Tor-gasm. I lol'd.

This.
Giggs is out of form for some time now. Scholes can't do everything by himself.
And of course, Yaya Toure is a tank.

Re: 2011
I think we're definitely going to see some big changes for Man U this summer, when Scholes and Giggs are gone. I can't see them being competitive with Man City, a potentially revamped and stacked Arsenal squad, and a Chelsea squad that actually lives up to its potential unless they do something significant in the transfer market.

Isn't United linked with Modric and Bale this summer?

Well, I don't know how both of them play in a game vs. Manchester City. They are 37/38 they simply are not capable of dominating the midfield against a world class team anymore.
