Typical Mavericks post season game. Dirk is the best player on the court and the next 3 guys all play on the other team. (not even going to get into the ridiculous amount of phantom calls).

lol Jason Terry as your 2nd best player. What a complete joke. Please join some other team and kill any chance they may have in the post season

Those two teams are only as good as they are shooting beyond the arc because they have the most effective, and efficient players attacking the paint. LBJ and tony parker have been monsters in the paint this season.

So have Westbrook, Harden, and Durant. I guess that those other two teams have bigger "media flaws" than their jumpshooting, OKC doesn't. Miami has the "lebron terrible in the clutch" "media flaw." Spurs have the "are so old that they play in a retirement home" "media flaw."

What's with all the ref hate? Free throws were 32 to 39 and that includes three intentional fouls....
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

They didn't want to foul Durant, but there just isn't a good option to foul when you're playing the Thunder. They should've just fouled immediately, no reason to let three very good free throw shooters pass it around and still have to foul one of them. At the very least they could've tried to steal the ball at some point, they just let them make passes.

they were trying to trap for the steal. They got it too but a foul was called. TNT never showed a replay. Shame cause Marion and Carlisle were aghast at the call.

You´re so defensive that you don´t even realise people don´t have anything against jumpshooting teams (necessarily), but that it was mentioned only in the context of free throw attempts.

Media flaws, lol?!

The Thunder are like the media´s darling.

71 FT's are you kidding me! I could care less who wins the game, I was watching the game as a basketball fan, but please 71 FT's. Who in there right mind wants to watch 3:15 game with 71 FT's half of which were of the ticky tack variety.

WRONG, THIS IS COMPLETELY ON CARLISLE, TERRY SHOULDN'T HAVE EVEN BEEN IN TO FOUL DURANT, JUST LIKE HE SHOULDN'T HAVE BEEN IN LAST YEAR IN GAME TWO TO GIVE CHALMERS THAT WIDE OPEN THREE BUT CARLISLE IS TOO DUMB TO MAKE A DEFENSIVE SUBSTITUTION AND PUT WEST IN

So by 'they got it too' you mean they fouled... and didn't get a steal?

Seriously, Mavs fans are the only ones being reasonable about the whole thing. This is bizarre.

Yep, he didn't waste no time, I guess Dirk has never sold the contact to get a foul.
