Anyone wanting Woodson renewed, speak up now.

Post#1 » by richardhutnik » Tue May 1, 2012 5:07 am

And during the regular season, the Knicks had a good run going under Woodson. It wasn't as good as it needed to be, but it was good. Well, during this time, you had a number of posts calling for Woodson to get a contract extension.

Anyone out there want to go on record now, particularly if you did before, and saying want Woodson renewed?

Well I said he should be judged by the playoffs.

Get this team to fight regardless of the result.

But truth be known the team stopped playing the defense they did in the beginning of Woodson taking over, right after Miami broke out streak at home.

They haven't been the same since.

That's not all on Woodson, but no way he will be back if this team gets swept, and personally I couldn't endorse it.

It's laughable that people would blame Woodson. You can put any Phil Jackson or Greg Pop on this team and the Knicks would still get swept, especially with Lin Shumpert and now Amare out. Also the Heat are just on another level.

18-6. That's a .750 record. We were playing some very tough teams too. If we can get Phil, we get Phil. If not, Woody is my guy.

I'm not gonna give up on the guy yet. Give him a full season to get things under control. Then if the season is a failure next year he might have to go.

There is no coach that would have won either game in Miami.

He has zero offensive imagination, and his postseason record (particularly on the road) is a huge black cloud. It really depends on how these home games go.

You think a Head Coach is the problem? The problem is that we have a collection of players instead of a team. Much like Knicks teams of the past, all we are is hype.

You can't keep having a coach in "lame duck" status when he is expected to contend or get fired.

Either he gets the job with years of security on it or he doesn't.

But I think that's determined by this playoff run.

For offensive schemes there is only doo doo in Woodson's brain.

Nope not me.

It's becoming more & more apparent why he got ousted in ATL. His adjustments are laughable & he has no offensive imagination. People said on Sunday night that this was the game for Woody to prove himself, we all know how well he proved himself yesterday....

Let's try to reach out to Phil see if he's still wants to coach.
