Dallas was in the bonus as soon as the third quarter started. Dirk got one of the worst continuation calls I've ever seen at a crucial part of the game. Take out the intentional fouls at the end and the FTAs were basically even.

I hate how the game was called. Too many whistles on both sides of the ball but it was fairly even. The notion that the Thunder are getting superstar calls that Dallas is not is beyond ludacris.

I guess it just goes back to the point Dallas never loses, it is always the refs fault.

Durant 15/44 in this series.

and thats just with Marion guarding him, his worse nightmare is Artest. Can't wait for the second rnd.

Durant has done a lot better job against Artest lately. Not saying it won't be tough but he has played better since the playoff series.

Durant played awful. 15/44 is his best?

and Wilt Chamberlain was 9 points away from having 5 more championship rings...but you're right, it does suck.

Ok, I know we didn't lose because of the refs, but where is the foul??

Edit #2 : It's an obvious hip check. Just keep your eyes on Harden's butt, because you know you want to.

Are people really crying about the refs? That game was evenly officiated. Durant earned all of his free throws.

We already tried to explain to them that there have been more fouls on OKC than on Dallas -

But then my mind was changed by that video they posted of Marion "fouling" Harden.

You know the one - where Marion is trying to foul Harden, and the commentator is saying "you've got to get the foul here", and then Marion runs up to Harden and reaches in from behind, underneath Harden's dribbling arm, makes full contact with him from torso to buttocks, knocks him to the right 6 inches, and the ball goes squirting out of bounds?

Yeah, that's the one. The refs are jobbing Dallas by calling a foul on that weak crap, when all the Mavs were really trying to do in that situation was commit a foul on purpose.

No team ever loses in the playoffs. There's just various degrees of being robbed of a clearly deserved win by the refs and the evil Stern rigging every game.

After the complaints about refs in a 30 point blowout by the Heat I really think this is true.
“If you're getting stops and you're making threes and the other team's not scoring, that's when you're going to see a huge point difference there,” coach Billy Donovan said.

What blows my mind is why people who think its always rigged for an 8 on 5 will continue to watch games. Don't understand that.

im actually very surprised by how close dallas is. i expected the lethargy to continue but they're actually neck and neck with okc.

some homecourt and home cooking should do wonders for them.

Well this is a horrible angle to view the play, but it looks like the two players definitely collided.

Furthermore, from this view, how is it even possible to determine who the ball went out off of? Marion was obviously trying to foul anyways I don't get what the problem is.

Edit :

Aw, to heck with it.

I don't need to explain why that play was a foul, was intended to be a foul, reaching in from behind, yada yada, casual fans missing body contact fouls, yada yada.

It was a foul. It was supposed to be foul. The intent was to foul. You don't pull that move without expecting a whistle. He got bumped. You don't even need to see what happened with the hands/arms/ball.

I might be late with this joke, but what are the odds Mark Cuban plays a promo like this before the Mavs next home game??

This series has been the best of the first round imo.

Going back to OKC with a tied series would be great but i really think
that these upcoming two games will be very close like the first ones
and the mavs will lose one of them.

Execution has cost the Mavs more than OKC actually sticking it to them. They're doing some good things to stymie OKC, but for every good thing they do...they shoot themselves in the foot the next chance they get.

Rick played his ref complain card at the right time......going home any slight rough stuff on Dirk will be a foul. Bank on that.
