RE: Dale Moss

That 41.5 inch vertical is a no step, correct? If so...

He's going to have to put on about 25-30 pounds to play OLB, hey?

I would think so, yeah. Hard to find where this was originally 'reported', so I'm not really even sure if it's true or not. But if it is, it would have to be a multi-year project, I'd think.

I did find a quote from an anonymous coach or front office guy in PFW saying that he was an OLB for their team. Maybe the source was a Packer.

"(Vanderbilt's Sean) Richardson is not a safety. He’s an outside linebacker for us. He has no cover skills. If you want a hitter only, he can help in the box."

I'd be nice to be able to just stash him on the PS. You'd think it would be a waste of a roster spot (especially when competing for a championship) to have a 225-230 pound OLB who has no idea what he is doing on the squad.

But with those measurables that he put up in the combine, someone might scoop him up.

Should be interesting.

I guess they figure his coverage liabilities are minimized at LB while his athleticism is even more of an advantage. If his skillset translates well to LB, maybe he makes the team on merit rather than potential. If not, then we've got 9-10 guys better than him, most of which are pretty close to his age. TT FTW.

He says hey there! (Believe he was listed at 230 in camp, but I don't doubt that his weight dipped below that as camp progressed).
You gotta make it sexy! Hips and nips, otherwise I'm not eating.

Yeah, that reminds me that I totally overlooked by far the most likely and obvious way he'd make the team: special teams.

Thats interesting. In Madden, I would always do that with Bigby when he was on the team. I didnt think something like that would actually happen here.

Found this rare and mislabeled footage of UDFA tryout Michael Zweifel from 1963.

In all seriousness, terrific hands on this kid.

Darius Reynolds waived for failing his physical. Open spot on the 90 man.

I think Moss is now a lock for the Practice Squad.
