I don't know how many times I've heard about how mediocre we are and how the Celtics have a straight shot to the Eastern Conference Finals. We came out today with fire and for the most part kept it up.
Scoreboard.
Props to our Hawks!

Let's call a spade a spade. The Celtics may have been overrated, but our Hawks are still just a middle of the pack team.
Good enough to make the 2nd round of the playoffs, but not good enough to contend with the best teams in the league. It hurts me to write this, but we haven't been a real contender to the throne since the days of Dominique.
We can call ourselves elite when we break through that 2nd round barrier and grace the Conference Finals. Till then, let's just take things one...game...at a time.

Well, with Rondo's suspension for game 2, home court advantage (this rd at least), and the possibility of facing a Rose-less Bulls in the 2nd rd; I'd say we have a good chance to make the East Finals! Yes, there's a lot of work to be done, but I can see us facing the Heat for a chance at a championship berth. Heck, there might even be a chance that the Bulls don't get past the 76ers now, and we would get home court in the 2nd rd.
I'm just stoked to see this team I've been following for a long time have a real opportunity. Yes, Jamaaliver is right, we are not necessarily as good as the Heat or OKC, but I think it's something special to be in a position to do more than this franchise has ever done before.

Bulls won over 65 percent of their games without Rose. You sure your Hawks are a challenge?

Just the fact that you, a Bulls fan, are trolling our boards proves that you think we're a challenge...
I suggest you stick to the Philly/CHI boards until your team proves it can win playoff games without your MVP.
