I Didn't know Reggie Miller was such a clown (about LeBron)

Criticizes LeBron for asking for 'help' from Hakeem during off season to work on his postgame. As well as from Isiah and Magic Johnson.

Says a someone as good as LeBron should figure it out himself instead of ask for help from the greats.

What a clown talking out of his ass. As if a human being is not allowed to ask for help from others improve oneself.

The man gets criticized for absolutely everything he does, good or bad. Standards aren't even for a human anymore.

I muted the game while miller was going on this little rant.... the most pointless, idiotic comments ive heard from a commentator, lebron didnt have a great postgame and everyone critisizes him saying he needs to work on it, he works on it and then they critisize him for needing help? Reggie miller is a bitter bitch because he never won a ring.. oh and guys need to be calling him ? the guy is retired you moron, its not like he went to dwight howard for help.. ugh imma stop now before i punch my screen >:|

The Miller family (Brother and sister) should be banned from commentating. They are horrible. The garbage he was spewed was one of the more pathetic tirades I've heard in a long time.

It's like saying the smartest kid in class shouldn't ask the teacher for help.

Whoever his partner was also said, "Carmelo Anthony is owning Shane Battier" during the first quarter when Carmelo was on fire. Real professional, keep up the good work fellas.

Reggie Miller of all people is giving advice on how to be a champion

Reggie was never on stacked teams where multiple superstars joined together, and they were almost always underdogs, plus that guy named MJ beat him in 7 games in 97-98 when the Pacers had their best shot.

LeBron on the otherhand lost his leeway for failure when he took part in the superteam creation.

Reggie making it to the finals and being the closest team to beating the Dynasty bulls, the playoff heroics, that's a good legacy for a team like the Pacers, who weren't supposed to be some dominate force,(though they were good)

LeBron on the otherhand outside of one season in Cleveland has consistently had his teams underperform in the playoffs relative to their seeding, which was far more understandable when he had such little help.

But when you team up with D-Wade and another perrenial all-star and boast about winning 8 championships, and then you fall short people are going to be super-critical, people love a winner, but they love to watch someone fail even more.

That said, Reggie is a bad commentator and so is Cheryl, but LeBron hasn't won anything yet, despite having a way greater favorite than any team Miller was ever on, so he isn't really out of his league when it comes to winning vs. Lebron, neither have rings.

He also went on a separate rant later on about how if he could tell Lebron something, it'd be to "just be himself" and stop caring so much about what everyone thinks of him and to stop apologizing, etc. Because obviously this is all brand new stuff and we just now HAD to hear Reggie's wisdom on it. And if you really cared about telling him that, Reggie, I don't think it's best to do it while broadcasting a game that he's playing in and obviously has no chance of hearing you because he's ON THE COURT. Somehow I doubt they include your commentary track while watching game film.

Guy is a complete moron. I was cringing a few weeks back when he wanted to use the idiom "elephant in the room" but kept referring to it as "pink elephant in the room".

Didn't Reggie use to workout in the offseason with Jordan and other NBA players to improve their game for the up and coming season?

Reggie also claimed LeBron should make this his team and that Wade allegedly even claimed he was fine with being a second option (which I never heard anywhere). Just because you were never humble enough about yourself doesn't mean LeBron needs to adapt your character. Last year the debate was that they struggled to play next to one another because they all wanted to be no.1 options, now we actually play great team basketball and LeBron receives criticism for not putting the team on his back. Way to contradict yourself.

Also, I clearly remember Reggie screaming "He's the closer, I'm sorry!" when LeBron hit all those clutch shots against Chicago and in the broadcast of game 2 he went out and said "Nevertheless, Wade should be the closer because he's a more natural scorer." Again, way to contradict yourself idiot. The guy is just a joke who's trying to create something out of nothing. Thankfully our stars don't buy into his crap and suffer from the ego issues this guy clearly has.

Another point where he sort of contradicts himself is that he claimed LeBron should polish his postgame, yet he criticizes him for seeking advice from one of the best post-players the game has ever seen. Never even mention the fact that Kobe visited Hakeem too. I'm sure the greats back in the day worked out together, it just wasn't published as much because there wasn't all the social media etc.

It's funny because if others did this, they'd be praised for being humble enough to accept advice and would be championed for taking a "student of the game" approach.
But in his home dwelling...the hi-top faded warrior is revered. *Smack!* The sound of his palm blocking the basketball... the sound of thousands rising, roaring... the sound of "get that sugar honey iced tea outta here!"

He has to fill up all that garbage time as we wipe out the Knucklebrothers. He's bound to say some stupid things. Generally he's not as bad as some.

Kerr just makes me want to smash a fire extinguisher casing.

This pissed me off too. He is probably just mad no one comes to him for advice on how to win championships. All these guys really just seem jealous of the guy. I don't know why they all feel they need to try to tear him down to build up other players. Just let the players play, all the nonsense is tiresome.

By the way, Reggie is a very overrated player. He never even came close to an MVP or even an all NBA first team for that matter. People like to look at his clutch shooting and say he is an all time great but realistically he was just the best scorer on a very good team in the 90's. His playoff averages are just that average. And if you look at those pacers team they were good b/c of the interior play and there Defensive abilities.

Jealousy to he point of hatred. Reggie was a good player not one of the greatest. He was a star not a superstar. He was a scorer not a baller like Ray Allen. He was irrelevant even when he was playing. He made some plays but doesnt and will never know what success is. Pacers als had some good teams. If you are not Lebron or playing against him immediately then dont talk abut him.

Lebron is on a higher level than Miller ever was, his comments should not make news.
