Milwaukee prefaces this trade with the waiving of Earl Boykins.

Milwaukee and Toronto have a trade to announce.

Bucks out:
Brendan Haywood ($7,624,500 - original salary before 7b amnesty)
Total = $7,624,500

Raptors out:
Randy Foye ($4,250,000)
Marcus Morris ($1,823,280)
Jodie Meeks ($854,389)
Total = $6,927,669

Bucks are reluctant to give up a defensive anchor like Haywood, but we really like these 3 guys coming our way. All solid contributors with potential. We needed some trading chips. Good dealing, Dan!

Toronto was not interested in re-signing Meeks+Foye. Morris was available because we have our backup 3 in Johnson and backup 4 in Davis. Morris as tweener was the one that could go. In Haywood we get our backup-C on an amnestied contract. Why not? 8-) Great dealing, man! Win-win for both.

#65 - PHX & ATL

Atlanta Sends:
Jeff Foster - $3,000,000
$3M Cash

Phoenix Sends:
Sweet, sweet Cap Space

Phoenix Accepts - We feel that Foster has the chance to become the next Mugsy Bogues.

Good dealing ATL.

Atlanta accepts. We love Phoenix. We record a 3million TPE (of love).

$0,500,000 - Travis Leslie

$4,500,000 - Total

Atlanta sends:
$5,550,000 - Amir Johnson

Deal.
I have a lot of wings and I like Amir's athleticism. Could be a double-double guy playing with Paul.

This lonely trade just wants us to to accept it for who it is, and we do. Atlanta is thrilled to invite Ryan Gomes and Travis Leslie into the fold, and expect both of them to be core pieces going forward.

#66: UTA and POR:

To Utah:
Eric Gordon ($3,831,184)
Dominique Jones ($1,193,280)
Nolan Smith ($1,306,920)

Total: 6,331,384* 1.5 + 100,000 = 9,597,076

To Portland:
Brook Lopez ($3,076,983)
Derrick Favors ($4,443,360)

Total: 7,520,343

Also within 5M

Deal works

UTA accepts. I feel like this is a major overpay, but I just don't know. I love Gordon, and he is the 3rd best SG in the league and only 23. I just recently watched him play for an extended period of time, and I feel like he's a legit star already, and can only grow better. It's really hard to lose that front court, but it helps with the value of my pick anyways.

Trade #67

Trying to make up for a lack of BlackIce, atlanta is wheeling/dealing and otherwise just moving stuff. The latest installment is:

Atlanta Outgoing
Morrow (4,000,000) + Leslie (500,000)

Milwaukee Outgoing:
Livingston (3,500,000) 2015 2nd rounder

Works as 3,500,000 x 1.25 (+100k) = 4,475,000 > 4,000,000. And Leslie is absorbed as a 2nd part as a min salary player.

Atlanta does it because Leslie. We are sick of him already.

Crap. Yours wasn't there when I started typing. :) Edited above.

And new trade, now #68.

Atlanta outgoing: Marvin Williams (7,500,000) and 3 million cash.
LAL outgoing: Wes Johnson 4,006,080 and Corey Brewer 3,059,000

Trade works within 125%. And Atlanta was at 14 roster spots so it works 2 for 1.

Atlanta shapes trade as following:

Marvin Williams for Wes Johnson reates a 3,493,020 TPE
Corey Brewer absorbed via TPE from Foster trade in the amount of 3,000,000.

{TPE's can absorb a player up to 100,000 greater in salary, so 3,059,000 < 3,1000,000 = 3,000,000 TPE}

Atlanta does this because of Travis Leslie.

Confirmed. Good value, Brook is a legit 7 footer to put beside Horford, and Favors is decent depth.

Lopez/Horford
Millsap/Favors

Content for now.

The Lakers accept. We do this because Marv is simply better than both Wes and Brew. But seriously, we add a piece we've liked for a while.. a guy who is already starting to turn it around in Atlanta -- though it's seemed like he's turned it around a few times in his career ..we believe playing on a roster with as much talent as ours, with all the complimentary pieces we already have assembled -- Marv will fit in real nice and snug. He's a real well-rounded player and he'll be able to do many things for us and our second unit -- in which he'll be leading.

Trade #69.

I don't typically eat candy. But lately, I haven't been able to help myself. I came home with 2 containers of Jelly beans from Costco. Each container says the following, (after the requisite Kirkland Brand):
Serving Size 35 Pieces (40g)
Servings Per Container About 45

So, there are a fair amount of them. And sometimes, if I grab a handful, in the mix of the 49 flavors there will be one where you just don't now. Is it Peach? Sunkist(R) Orange? Orange Sherbert?

Your going to get surprised. Thats the thing about Jelly Beans. And sometimes you will end up saying, wow, what was that. Thats the wonder of Jelly Beans, available now at select Costco's near you.

And that is the wonder of second round draft picks.

Atlanta sends 1.75 million to Utah in return for Utah's second round pick in 2012.

Promotional consideration has been paid by Costco

#69 :eyebrows:
EDIT Damn you, Hartford. I'm still leaving it.
#70

Milwaukee and Minnesota have a trade to announce.

Bucks out:
Randy Foye ($4,250,000)
Carlos Delfino ($3,500,000)
Larry Sanders ($1,861,920)
MIL 2012 2nd
Total = $9,611,920

T'Wolves out:
Anderson Varejao ($7,700,000)
Total = $7,700,000

Bucks do this deal to upgrade our center position. We love the defense and intensity that AV brings to the table.

Rockets Accept this deal. Biyombo has progressed very well and will be an superior defensive post in the league. He appears to be developing some good moves in the blck and mid range game that will fit with the core of athletes much better than the 1/2 court post that Pekovic offered. Ryan Andersons expiring for Courtney Lee's expiring was an easy deal as Ryan has become one of the best shooting bigs who has great instincts. Great dealing Orlando - it ended up work well for both of us.
