Don't worry. Carmelo won't punch a fire extinguisher. He'll grab it, hold it for a while and then shoot it.

Yeah, but it's also like he panics. Jorts played well. Knicks had their best lineup when there was a center and a PF, but he refused to go back to that in the second half.

Disappointing game. Someone needed to step up when Melo's shot went missing.

forget about trading amare for scrubs, and all that
you will need amare lin melo meshing well firing to even stand a chance
Amar'e isn't "talent", he's a jumper shooting 4 who's pretty much atrocious everywhere else.

Re: Game 3 Postgame
Those of us who saw woody in ATL warned you about how he ran Joe Johnson into the ground.
If D'Antoni wore Lin out, Woodson is doing the same to Melo. Melo gets to take 25 shots as the focal point of the offense and is beat up night in and night out. Count the times he got hit in the face this game. It should have been obvious from the getgo that superhero Melo was not sustainable.

miami is too good defensively and hit their shots when they need it. i don't see them having a problem winning a ring this season...they may have a little trouble if they run into the thunder though

Great, next year we have to worry about our new coach meshing well with Melo Stat and Lin. And the cycle starts again fml

Re: Game 3 Postgame
This game is all on Woodson and Melo. i've been praising them all season and absolutely can't do it anymore. Biggest game of the season and neither showed up.
Melo chucking up bad shot after bad shot, not moving the ball, playing lazy D and absolutely killing our chemistry.
Woodson not making any adjustments, the bench was rolling in the second quarter, so what does he do. take them out. Jorts was playing very well and didn't even see the court in the second half. On the other hand Melo was absolutely killing us on offense and defense and he played the entire second half. Disgusting!

Re: Game 3 Postgame
Melo shouldn't have been playing the whole 2nd half especially guarding LeBron in the 4th.
My lifetime better have a Knicks championship.

Hopefully we can take one game off of miami.. this is pathetic.. Injuries are one thing but Miami is flat out the better team.. better coached and more experienced...

i forgot,
lets fields go this offseason, don;t need his garbage shots. would rather have another chucker who can make shots rather than someone who provides nothing

No one played well, and the Knicks need PGs bad. No one could shoot either. sigh ... Knicks need more talent.
I'm not even mad. Just kind of over it, I guess. Numb.
For some reason I'm not really upset either. I'm looking forward to next season. Don't know how but some changes really need to be made to our squad.

Let's hope Lin comes back off of the bench and goes into Linsanity mode against the Heat mob. I think we can steal a win this series at least.

Our best lineup was JR, Bibby, Jeffries, Fields, and Jorts. Jorts deserved to play in the 2nd half.

Re: Game 3 Postgame
i wouldn't have put melo and chandler back in in that 2nd quarter when the knicks bench was creating seperation...that was the turning point for me, potentially, the knicks bench could have created so much seperation (14-18) points that it would have been exausting for miami to come back.....anyway, that didn't happen.....miami came back.........with some daring coaching strategies maybe you guys can come back one game at a time - the talent is there........but, yea, the thin lineup is a big disadvantage, no doubt though, knicks played with heart and the coaching staff gets props
