Yup I agree and so do the advanced stats. Here are our USG% numbers from last night:
1) LeBron James 49.1 (!!!) in 35:50 minutes, ORtg 104, DRtg 81
2) Dwyane Wade 28.0 in 36:45 minutes, ORtg 110, DRtg 75
3) Mike Miller 18.5 in 18:53 minutes, ORtg 62, DRtg 88
4) Mario Chalmers 17.9 in 39:44 minutes, ORtg 129, DRtg 80
[5)] James Jones 15.3 in 4:47 minutes, ORtg 111, DRtg 97 -> JJ wasn't on the court enough to actually be considered in this ranking.
5) Chris Bosh 10.0 in 36:57 minutes, ORtg 132, DRtg 83, Shane Battier 10.0 in 35:30 minutes, ORtg 0, DRtg 83
It's obvious that LeBron had the ball in his hands far too much, while Bosh barely received any opportunities to score. You can partially blame it on CB being tired, but that's no reason to not look for him a little more, especially when he was pretty efficient so far from the field.
By the way, Chalmers once again had an excellent game and his really stepped up in the playoffs so far. Overall, our defensive numbers are pretty damn good and, as I mentioned after the game, Wade was a terror on that end of the field.
