It's possible. He will be 24 by the time the season rolls around so you can't rule it out that he may not progress much more then what he does on court now, But the level he IS at, is pretty damn good.

Also, his numbers are pretty much the same looking at them. the one thing he has been in his years is pretty consistant across the board.

He had more help in the backcourt this year in G Mark Lyons who jumped his scoring up to 15 and there was the whole Xaiver vs CIN Brawl incident and backlash which may have impeeded his focus this year.

If you look at his advanced stats below along with his constant ability to draw fouls and get to the line all game long (and hit them), he is a VERY good 2nd round pick if he happens to slip (like the Kings I.Thomas did), he would be a big time steal in the 2nd.

I dont think Holloway is as good as he played his Jr year, i think he played over his head a little bit and that is why his overall numbers didn't duplicate. But all in all his So, Jr and Sr. years were all exellent. The kid is FEISTY, TOUGH and a LEADER on that basketball court. Will not back down from ANYone. Kind of the way Chris Paul has that nasty/dirty attitude when the lights come on.

One trade I would do on draft day is trade Turkoglu/JRich and our 2012 1st round pick (once we make pick for NYK) for Carmelo Anthony. His trade value is clearly down this year, it's time for a change...I hate to lose our pick in the process but this trade would make Dwight happy and Magic a better contender. Also Knicks could use stretch exception on JRich to free up more $$ to sign Jeremy Lin! 8-)

I'm actually excited about this draft because we have a chance at pick 19 to get someone on this team who can contribute and bring a breathe of fresh air. These are the guys that I'm hoping we look at and from the mocks I have seen could be around during our pick.

1. Terrence Ross, Washington -I have seen him go around the 14-20 mark so this would be a big hope but if Ross feel to us I would be very happy.

2. Quincy Miller, Baylor

3. Marquis Teague, Kentucky

4. Kevin Murphy, Tennessee Tech

5. Jae Crowder, Marquette

6. Will Barton, Memphis

7. Tony Wroten, Washington

8. Royce White, Iowa State

9. Jeffrey Taylor, Vanderbilt

10. Moe Harkless, St. Johns

You read turnovers by TO%. That is Turnovers per 100 possesions. In "()" are the players AST%

Tu Holloway is 17.0% (27.5%)
Tony Wroten is 18.7% (24.5%)
Tyshawn Taylor 19.5% (29.7%)
Marquis Teague is 21.1% (25.6%)

When Im telling you guys i have evaluated the hell out of these prospects.....i have evaluated the hell out of them. :D (i have a serious disorder with this basketball ish)

Ross would be a really solid pick. Sounds strange, but his game actually reminds me of a longer/bigger Jason Richardson. He is an exellent spot up shooter and catch and shoot guy, cant do too much off the dribble, but somehow makes some okay passes out of the high pick and roll. UNLIKE JRich though he is a very good defensive rebounder and a decent to good defender.

Holloway? If so, i'd look for a trade up in the 2nd round (kinda like we did for Harper last year), Or if you think he will fall to your #49th you sit and wait. If teams are more fixiated on his "Head Height" and Post Brawl comments, instead of his actual game, he could very possibly fall to you there. I don't believe there will not be a player remotely comparable to his caliber in the mid/late 2nd round. Teams slept on I.Thomas (Kings) over the same stupid things.

If you don't go PG (Rivers*/Taylor/Teague) with your first rounder, you do everything in your power to secure Holloway with your 2nd.

First round we need to go BPA... I'd go in this order:

T. Jones
Rivers
Ross
Fab melo
Q. Miller
Wroten
Teague

Second round:
Trade up for Murphy then draft holloway
I live rent free in your head. You know who you are :D

Not changing this sig until Magic win a championship. Started 6/26/2015.

No Tyshawn Taylor at the top of those PG's? Blasphemy.

Where's Jeff Taylor?

And Fab Melo's stock will rise; bigmen get overrated closer to the draft.

Trade up for Sullinger or trade down for Andrew Nicholson.

MORE power forwards? WHY?

Because if I had it my way, we'd trade the three we have.

not Sullinger. He has no true position. too small for center, too slow for PF, no outside game whatsoever, another player that needs a good PG to create for him.

We need to upgrade PG and SF 1st before anything.

How do people still not see the reason we lose is because we have ZERO backcourt/wing play? At what point are we ever going to adress that? This is the lowest down in the draft we have been in a very long time and we want to waste both picks on MORE mid-sized bigs?
