our best option is a 3 headed center. Let all three be active bodies without worrying about foul trouble and wearing them out. They need to just move, set screens rebound and challenge shots 100% for every minute they are on the floor.

Vertical Limit wrote:Just go watch how Boozer and Noah were abusing Pittman the last time we played Chicago. It was disgusting. Joel stopped the bleeding, but Pittman just isn't ready for the big boys yet. He still has a long way to go to figure out this defense. Joel also has had success defending Amare.

I criticize Pittman as much as anybody else on this board, but he played well against Chicago

I dont think we will see pittman much at all during the playoffs. I doubt Spo is going to worry about the developement of Pittman now. I think he just have to understand he going to have to learn by watching unless there is foul problems or injuries. Other than that, Spo is not going to put him into the normal rotation. We will see coles, we just havent so far because the Knicks lack of a point guard.

Hopefully Pittman is taking every oppurtunity to get better and not get discourage and settle.

Pittman is not needed against Knicks. Hell, not even UD gets a lot of minutes. We're looking to space the floor big time against the Knicks with Battier and Miller, and it's working.

But their front court isn't like the Bulls or anything.

Roy Hibbert.... the guy is good but he isn't dominant or anything.

But we don't know the game plan yet for them, so we'll see. If their front court is a problem, we may see Pitt just for size and 6 fouls lol.
