Tough loss, but the fight was great. This team fought like no other, especially BBD.

Refs are garbage, not that they were the reason we lost, but they are still garbage.

let's go Magic BEST TEAM IN THE WORLD

They are going to hate on Big Baby who was 10-17 at that point in the game, most efficient one scoring with the hot hand, but they don't want to give him the ball? Yes lets blame Stan. How bout we blame fanboys favorite Anderson for disappearing act in the playoffs. Not grabbing more than 1 defensive rebound in 35 minutes and not grabbing two crucial defensive of rebounds instead doing that stupid face-guarding crap because hes too soft to box out.

Are we going to hate on Stan for giving the ball to Jameer with a wide open shot and Jameer missing it from bout 8 feet?

Redick 2-9
Anderson 3-9
Jameer 4-15
Baby 10-17

Pick whod you give the ball too. Give me a break.. People love to nitpick at everything. Thank goodness you guys are watching crying in a forum while Stan is coaching.

Great comeback. A few things stick out to me 1 jameer cant be the starter at the end of next year. he is the reason for the loss for his terrible play the last 2 minutes. 2 svg is a terrible play caller but he is one heck of a coach. and last there is no point of orl winning the series because they will get absolutely embarassed in the next round.

I hate Duhon as much as the next guy but blame the entire loss on Stan playing him few minutes? Yikes.

Calm down. It's a loss. It happens.

That's not the only thing i blame him for....remember that stretch where we didn't score for like 6 minutes? where we were taking nothing but jumpers? Who should be blamed for that? Stan calls all the plays....all we needed was just penetration.....but in that stretch we took jumper after jumper....at that point you have to make an adjustment....

either way we still had a shot but poor execution and playcalling was the death of us.....

We obviously need to get better talent on this roster, but I am proud of the fight they showed today. We should have and deserved to win that game, just made some mental errors towards the 4th and OT to seal it. It's just time to do the impossible now and just take it one game at a time. I want to see this type of play for 48 minutes and not for 17 minutes.

The coach decides the play, the play was terrible, who should be blamed for that?

What other play would you draw up with 2.2 secs left?

And no time out left. Seriously..some of you posters only show up to hate. Where are you guys when SVG does something positive. I have reasons to criticize SVG in this game, but this isn't it.

Where is everybody that wanted Clark to start? The same Clark that was getting abused by West tonight.
I can play this game too, but I'm not naive like some you posters. I understand context and not to judge on small sample. I'm only calling out a few people, so I don't want the majority of this board to get on me.

Honestly I thought he meant the jameer iso but with 2.2 seconds, and the pacers guarding the perimeter to avoid a three, that could be a great opportunity for a backdoor cut like he did with the courtney lee layup and like brian hill did twice, especially with the way he saw the pacers defend the first time.

You have hedo making the pass, davis near the three point line setting the screen, first you bait jameer as the reciever of the pass knowing the pacers can tell its a bait, next you send redick as the bait with pacers thinking its a the real reciever, and at the same time with the pacers concentrated on the three point line you send J rich to the rim for an alley hoop/lay up.
If that doesnt work you still have jameer or redick to create a desperation three, which could at least win us the game and have about as much chance to go in as that turnaround that davis threw up.

Stan doesn't have a roster of players that can just go to the hoop on every play. We're a team full of jump shooters. BBD was the only one going to the hoop during our run.

No one complains when the jumpers are falling... just saying. I also doubt Stan says hey go out there and just shoot jump shot after jump shot. Layups are overrated.

I think that might of been our last gasp. Also 10 minutes of duhon can end a whole series.

Thank you for this level-headed response right here. People are letting their anger say some really stupid things. When we had the deepest bench in the league in 2008-2009 and even better in 2009-2010, no one was hating on Stan except the whole play Bass over Anderson debate. This roster is unbalanced and horrible. No one on the bench complements the starters. This has caused us to now rely on inexperienced journeymen and rookies to be saviors.

In the past 2-3 years, we used to have a bench that rivaled most starting units in the league and Stan played all the right people. Now Otis has put us in cap hell and in a panic to wipe our hands clean with new players so that Dwight sticks around. Otis is the guy that needs to go.

Not upset with the play but to not understand the psychological effects of benching a sensitive guy, who was nearly in tears, then expecting him to be emotionally ready to play out that last play is a little baffling. I know it sounds weird but those things do make a difference to some people.

Really though, the game was lost in the first half when Duhon destroyed us and afterward when we couldn't hit anything.

I agree his rotations need some tweeking. Collison licks his chops as soon as he sees Chris step on the floor.

What happened prior to the last shot has noooothhhhhhiiiinnnggg to do with the last shot. If Jordan had been 1-20 at the end of the game, you still give him the ball. We don't have any guys with super brooding confidence (including Dwight), but I'd still rather see Redick or Hedo take the final shot by a wide margin.

It's Stan's job to know this, and he seems to be a 100% statistics guy and incapable of recognizing the other variables of the game.
