Carmelo Anthony has the worst winning percentage for any player in NBA history with at least 50 playoff games, according to ESPN.

Anthony's teams have a 16-36 (.308) record during his playoff career with the Nuggets and Knicks.

Denver reached the playoffs in all seven of Anthony's full seasons with the franchise, but were eliminated in the first round each year except for 2009 when they reached the Western Conference Finals.

Garnett was 5-19 in his first 7 playoffs. Teammates have something to do with this, I think.
Making extreme statements like "only" sounds like there are "no" Jokics in this draft? Jokic is an engine that was drafted in the 2nd round. Always a chance to see diamond dropped by sloppy burgular after a theft.

Minny lost several first round picks due to the Joe Smith fiasco which limited their ability to surround Garnett with quality players. Plus McHale was just a lousy GM. Denver didn't have that problem.

Melo had Nene, Camby (leading rebounder and DPOY winner), KMart, Billups, Iverson and several competent role players (Birdman, JR) over the years. They also had a unique home court advantage due to the altitude.

Not very comparable to Garnett. Neither is Melo's career 41.5% shooting in the playoffs. The only thing melo has to offer is scoring (again different from Garnett) so if he is shooting a lot and missing he isn't worth much.

Considering the recent debate on Carmelo and on how he's not an elite player, it's got me thinking about the overall lack of elite talent at both the 2/3. As much as Carnelo is overrated I still have trouble coming up with a long list of perimeter players I'd take over him.

With Rose out, it looks like Philly might be able to take-down the Bulls. Have to hope that Boston or the Pacers can stop Miami.

McGee was the player of the game for Denver IMO.

16 points, 15 rebounds, 3 blocks, 2 steals, 2 assists and finished +30.

McGee haters, this is the player I thought he could be. He hasn't been that player consistently, but he did just help Denver defeat the Lakers by 15 in the playoffs.

Where were you the first two games when McGee was stinking up the joint? Just saying.

He's not a RFA until 2013.

Lionel Hollins doesn't realize he has a skilled 7 footer on the floor.

Memphis is disappointing me... they should be up 2-1.

He is eligible for an extension this summer. If he doesn't sign one then he will be a RFA next summer.

Great series but CP3 is just to tough of a leader.

And Tough Juice coming back with a broken hand ? He may get injured a lot but he is a tough dude. He is just saying, hell no. I missed the playoffs last year, not happening again. Give me some Advil and lets go.

Then you have Reggie Evans. Tough dude. And if CP3 can convert Blake into a actual tough guy instead of a pretender, they will be hard to beat.

Advantage LAC. It is looking like MEM looked great in the showroom but they are not ready to get it done in the playoffs.

I think LAC are going to out tough MEM. I'm order for MEM to win, Randolf is really going to need to step it up big time. Gastol and Guy are going to have to find their inner tough guy and become tougher men. It is a growing opportunity for both. If not, CP3 will rip their hearts out.

OKC is looking like a freight train right now.
The Spurs are going to be tough also.

One of those two seem like the team to beat.

The West is tough as usual. The East without Chicago at full strength is looking like a cake walk. The Celtics are the only team I can see even challenging Miami which we should get to see soon enough.

Miami vs Boston

SA vs LAC is going to be fun. CP3 vs Tony P is going to be a good match up.

OKC is waiting on either LAL or Denver. Either of which will be a fun series to watch.

This next LAL vs Denver game should tell how that story is going to end. Huge game tonight for that series.

Am I the only one who wants to see Gilbert get a crack at a game winner?

Probably. Just think it would be cool. And he has the pedigree ....
