I might... hoping Mayweather finally gets knocked out. I used to like him, but his act is getting old and I lost a ton of respect for him with the way he keeps dodging Pacquao. He's a scumbag.

The usual bland head scratching we've come to expect. I feel for the guy, with everything that's happened this season I think he's lost confidence in his ability to coach this team. He just seems totally lost right now.

VGOSWAMI wrote:That's the only other option I think he could have gone with, but when you have 2 guys setting a screen for a ball handler, one guy in bounding, it doesn't leave many options of guys to free up another player to get to the basket. With 2.2 secs, you got to commit to the 3 or 2. At the end of the day, Pacers had length to switch on everything. Any shot we got was going to be contested.

Like I said, everyone was expecting a three, so you have the element of suprise on your side and a high percentage shot if the pass is good which is about the only thing you can count on hedo to do.

My problem is , a baby turnaround is a bad shot even as a last resort, it havent worked all year and the reward for a prair shot like that is another overtime, while on the other hand you can do a give and take for hedo, you can go for a jameer/pull up or you can go with J rich/ryan three, all have about the same probability of going in and all gives you the win.

Since making that game winner against denver last year, jameer had a turnover against the bobcats, missed agaisnt the spurs missed against the clippers, missed against the hawks, and got blocked against utah, all in game winning situations.
There was no reason to go to him in that last play, hes a good scorer when there is a threat of him passing the ball but on an iso, he cant shoot over pepole and he wasnt shooting well for the night.

Really though, the game was lost in the first half when Duhon destroyed us and afterward when we couldn't hit anything.

Who was the sensitive guy?

SVG took Davis out and put in all shooters in a 2pt game at the end of OT. Davis looked pretty upset and surprised. I mean really, even if he's not there to shoot, he should be in there to run interference with his big body. Indiana stopped the play from developing and SVG put Davis back in.

Ah i didn't see that. Maybe they didn't show it on the local broadcast

It really pains me to say it but...

I can't be too mad about this, our guys did fight out there. Just not our year. Proud of the effort though.

On that last play Stan got made...plain and simple...his predictable offense and Indiana's execution sealed it.....Vogel saw how we set up and called a timeout....he obviously knew the play from how we were set up from scouting.....out of the timeout we run the same play but Indy was ready for it since they basically knew what we were going for...J-Rich 3.....we call a timeout......WE RUN THE SAME PLAY...except Davis slips under and takes a contested shot to try to tie the game....Stan should of just stuck to the plays he usually uses....i'm sure that play was practiced but was never used in a real game...Stan took a chance...of course that's if it was drawn up that way....it could of been a broken play..but i'm going off memory here....
