1. Im starting to believe this as well.
2. Gortat is our only piece.
3. ABSOFOOKINGLUTELY!!! :D

What's his contract situation anyway? Can Sacto match any offer? I dunno if he and Reke can co-exist on the wing because they're very similar...

Not currently! But it is feasible that they might have to move him to stay beneath the tax threshhold right? (and we have plenty of cap space to accomodate them.

And there front office wouldn't openly admit it if he was right? I mean that would only decrease any leverage they might have in any future deals proposed for him.

2.
We don't have the pieces to get him
We have the most improtant peice in gortat!(although he didn't help his value in the last couple games of the season.)We also have cap space wich could be very important to them soon. And frye wouldn't be bad at opening up the paint for both horford and gortat a little I think.

3. T-Will is the GOAT (just thought I'd throw that in randomly)
I really have always liked his athleticism, size and versatility! But is there any feasible way that sacramento would be willing to give him up?

In the end, I think we have just as good a chance as any to make a move to get him, Especially IF we are willing to bite the bullet on williams contract!

TWiLL is an unrestricted free agent. Houston didnt pick up his QO.

Terrence Williams seeks three-year deal

Terrence Williams wants to remain a King. But, the versatile forward has his price.

“I want at least a three-year deal,” Williams told Cowbell Kingdom after Thursday’s game. “I don’t know the number. I don’t know what I’m worth. I don’t know what my per 48 (minutes) on the court is. That’s up to my agent and the guys here.”

Williams says the Kings are his number one option when he hits the free agent market come July. He’s happy with the role he carved out during his short stint after signing in Sacramento following the trade deadline. Williams believes the Kings are a good fit for him as continues to move forward with his career.

“I definitely could see myself as being a closer and just being a key guy off the bench or a starter,” the 24-year-old swingman said. “Whatever (is needed) for them.”

Per 36 minutes, Williams averaged 15.5 points, 5.4 assists and 7.2 rebounds over the course of 18 games with the Kings.

Hmmm I think we liked him in the draft but that was Kerr and he went two slots before our pick. He is the definition of a team player so I think the Kings bring him back and give him a larger role next season. If that's the case we should go after Tyreke because he's excel with our veteran leadership and Nash wants a playmaker.

Frye, Morris and #13 or Frye and Dudley for Evans.

Thomas
Dudley
T-Will
PJIII
Cousins

Plus cap space...

do it - I like Sanders, watched a fair number of Bucks games this year. No way he's a bust -
with 11 an 13 we could do very well.

Yep. Always loved Sanders. Great length, and really good shotblocker.

However, I think we could squeeze out a little bit more for the Gortat in that deal though.

The signed him for he remainder of the offseason, allowing them to no extend him a QO which makes him a RFA

Sacramento will match any offer for him. mark it.

I doubt they'd match an offer in excess of $6m or so for TWill...

They will match anything. He runs the pick n roll with Cousins better than anyone on the team. Like Kerssed said he put up 16/5/7 in his time there. I think we have to move on from T-Will.

Well like any RFA who has performed, you have to overpay. I just don't think he's worth as much as some people would be willing to pay.

Thats actually his stats Per 36 minutes. He only averaged less than 20 minutes a game with the Kings.

there is an option for the suns. The kings have 3 decent prospects that are RFA's and not a huge amount of money to spend. If they want to hold onto all of Greene/Williams/Thompson then they'll have to get rid of some salary.

1) Salmons/2012 First for future unprotected second or protected first

2.) Salmons/Evans/2012 First for our 2012 First

Any one want to have a go at a 3 way that sends:

- Gortat from PHX to MIL
- shooters/ interior defenders from MIL to SAC
- Evans or other pieces from SAC to PHX?

Suns get Evans

Kings get Dudley, Udoh, MIL 1st

Bucks get Gortat, PHX 1st

Suns re-sign Redd and Hill plus a PF...

Wow Dez you want to give up Gortat, Duds and our lotto pick for only Evans? :o

No just playing along. I wouldn't want Evans if Gortat is leaving. Maybe we could give #13, Frye and Morris and somehow get Evans and probably absorb a bad contract (Garcia or Salmons?).

Nash, Telfair
Evans, Redd
Dudley/Hill
Randolph/Beasley, Warrick
Gortat, Lopez

Was thinking something like:

PHX in: Evans, Gooden
PHX out: Gortat, Childress

Childress for Gooden is a wash contract wise, but they could use him and we could use a backup big.

Nash, Evans, Hill, Frye, Lopez
Telfair, #13, Dudley, Morris, Gooden

MIL in: Gortat, Childress
MIL out: Gooden, Sanders or Udoh, Dunleavy, #12

Get a quality centre for a decent young prospect and a late lotto pick.

Jennings, Ellis, Childress, Ilyasova, Gortat
Udrih, Livingston, Mbah, Udoh/Sanders, Brockman

SAC in: Sanders or Udoh, Dunleavy, #12
SAC out: Evans

Give up a good young talent but receive a decent young talent which fills a need, a lotto pick, and a shooter which they claim to chase. Could package both lotto picks or pick up 2 lottery guys to play with Cousins and Sanders/Udoh.

Thomas, Thornton, Dunleavy, Sanders/Udoh, Cousins
Fredette, Williams, Salmons, Hickson/Thompson, Hayes
#3, #12

Yeah that sounds pretty good too, nice idea. They have a bunch of PFs already though and their apparent need for interior D isn't really something that jumps out at you when talking about Frye or Morris.
