Loved Val's motor on that last sequence, sprints down the court ahead of almost everyone, backs down Javtokas in the post, then runs all the way to the 3 pt line to set a pick.

Good on JV for not picking up a single foul yet. Also, that last play where JV went for the rebound seemed like a clear reach in foul on the other team.

Damn, JV is making the older big men work hard. They each have 2 fouls.

Rakovic and JV are gonna come to blows by the end of the series.

Jonas has struggled defensively today so far.

Yes I noticed that also. He is controling his arms today pretty well. Just got mutual foul with Rakovic tho. so JV 1 foul, Javtokas 2, Rakovic 3.

Maybe it's just me but I haven't seen any big mistakes on his part. Moreso a breakdown for the entire team.

Actually I think he did quite well. Problem is his team mates lose individually against Zalgiris guards so Jonas steps in to give a hand.

Jonas got a lot of burned today trying to defend not his man at weakside because Rytas teamates cant guard ****. Every time Jonas tried to block opponent coming under basket Javtokas or Rakovic got pass and easy points. Zalgiris ruining good pnr today, Rytas on other hand...

Couple of times where he came up hard on the pick and roll and guards blew by him. A few times he lost his man, which led to the made shots. But the team as a whole has not played great defensively.

I'm seeing a little more of what you're talking about in this quarter.

Rytas is getting worked right now. It was like only a 7 point game at the half..

They've hit one three, Zalgris has hit 8. Rytas can't contain Zalgris at the perimeter at all. I don't think they've had to throw the ball into the post once.

True, but Zalgiris is known for that, Rytas had to be expecting it. Especially when they have Vlanciunas in the post.

Smart move leaving Val on the bench to start the quarter with 1 foul /sarcasm

EDIT: And there he is
