Good lord. Some poor Knicks fans have actually convinced themselves with a "healthy" Knicks team they would match up against us.

The Heat lost to the Mavs who had competent PG play and Chandler at Center. Why wouldn't people think the Knicks could match up against the Heat, if they had that going? It is hubris to presume your team can just waltz right into the finals and win things without a challenge.

But you are free to presume you will sweep every single game the next 5 seasons in the playoffs and win titles, and have people think how awesome your team is. It is your choice. It isn't grounded in reality, but it is your choice.

As long as Woodson is the Knicks coach, and Carmelo and Amare are together, the Knicks aren't beating us in a 7 game series, with both healthy.

LeBron and Wade are just too much. I don't get why people think Iman Shumpert can stop Wade because even before he got injured, Wade still did his thing. Oh wow Shumpert kept slapping the ball from Wade, big deal lol.

Their bench might be better than ours years to come, but our star players are superstars.

I remember Baron was their savior... what happened to that  ?

A lot of people agree that if LBJ played better in the Finals, the Heat would have won. The Mavs were stacked and their PF of all positions hitting 3's and whatnot created a mismatch for our own defense who camped in the paint. Also it was the zone defense in which some blame goes to Spo for not even adjusting. The Mavs and Knicks are different in terms of personnel. UD and Miller playing injured didn't help either.

Seriously, STFU!

2011 Mavs =/= 2012 Knicks

Rick Carlisle>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Mike "Iso" Woodson
Dirk>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>Amare
Marion>Anthony.....at least he doesn't iso like a mofo!
Chandler=Chandler
Barea>>>>>>>>>Lin+Davis+Bibby
Terry>>>>>>>>>>>>JR

I can go on and on and on. Their team was much smarter, played as a very cohesive unit, moved the ball around and had a very intelligent coach. The Knicks have none of these attributes.

Thank you.

wtf? knicks losing 4 players are just "excuses"?

no sense...

if heat lost 4 starters they would be a lottery team and you'd be here making the same "excuses" for your team.

4 players? Incorrect. Only games 1 and 2 have been discussed thus far.

Amare was fine the first two, as was Baron.

Shumpert was fine in Game 1. Yeah he got injured but the game was out of reach for NY at that point. Only legit argument is Lin, and he can't even play against the Heat.

Edit:
Mods can lock this up. I don't have the energy to update this for the Game 3 win or any other win going forward. I thought people were going to use unique excuses every time but now we're just seeing the same non-sense presented on a different plate.

Plus the trolls are marching in.
