lol
I don't believe in curses, but...
14 years and no 2nd round.
I blame Josh Smith more than McGrady's bad luck.

Re: The Mcgrady curse
T-Mac is not a significant piece to this team and never has been. LD has made sure of that.
Whether its his lack of effort or laid-back approach or simply not getting along with what LD wants to see, T-Mac still hasn't surpassed Marvin in opportunities. Not until Josh got hurt did you see T-Mac get a season high in minutes. Do you think he would contribute at a high level after watching all year?
The problem on this team starts with LD and his approach that we need to matchup with other teams as opposed to us taking it to the other team. If Boston is considered frail and old, what does that make us, because we look like we can't match up with them for 4 quarters.
We were quite lucky to take Game 1, and this would have been a sweep. Instead, we are still trying to figure out how to defend Rondo after 6 games this year. Ridiculous because Teague needs to be resolving this issue or someone with greater length. Hinrich isn't helping matters either...he has one foot out the door already.

i've always said T-Mac should be starting...marvin bust williams over him?!?! mind boggling.... its hard to get past the 1st round let alone regular season games when your team consists of: darrell armstrong, andrew declercq, drew gooden, steven hunter, chris whitney, 40 year olds horace grant, shawn kemp, patrick ewing .... and in houstan him and yao were injured often

Drew is freakin (Please Use More Appropriate Word). T Mac can play 6 minutes and give you 2 assist, 2 or 3 FTs, and a couple boards, and Drew will sit him for the rest of the game. Thats the reason he was disgruntled mid season. Drew has no coaching common sense at all..

Drew should play TMac until he can no longer run up and down the court, but it's not going to happen. At this point during his career TMac should receive no blame for not advancing to the second round.

He shouldn't shoulder the blame for earlier in his carrer. He put up better numbers and was better defensively in the playoffs every year. But when push came to shove, he was always on the worse team of the two.

It's not a curse, the hawks are just a pos team.

That's what your moms doctor told her often after finding that she was turning tricks while pregnant with you. Stay off of our board. Never seen you before and don't want you around after a loss.
