Rorschach > other superheroes. Plus he doesn't wear tights.

Dark Knight would have my respect if Batman had killed the Joker. He didn't, which makes him Off-White Knight, and he has no business walking around looking like El Diablo, the Grim Reaper, or the Angel of Death. It should have been called Blue Steel II.

American Psycho > Batman

Citizen Kane is better than dark knight as well but it is an unfair comparison. Comic book movies will rarely be comparable to original films, hence the dark knight versus avengers discussion.

If you want to argue the merits of the mythos of batman versus that of watchmen, sure the characters in watchmen have more believable motivation than that of batman. But batman without his code of ethics would just be charles Bronson in deathwish.

citizen kane is mad overrated too. its just film school students get shown it and there professors tell them how amazing it is. it is however a technically amazing movie, especially for when it was made, i just dont find any of the characters compelling in the slightest.
