You know JVG inherited a great Knicks team from Riley, right? That team was just as successful under Riley, and then declined under JVG. It could be argued that the only reason Riles didn't win a ring with the Knicks is because of the Jordan Bulls. Time does funny things to people's memories. JVG can coach...just not that well. The NBA coaching carousel is full of lulz. PEACE.

Q: After seeing Sunday's loss, why should anyone believe Miami is any tougher mentally than it was last year? They failed to close out the 76ers last year in the first round and now have done the same with New York. Was it not this same passiveness that cost them a 15-point lead in Game 2 of the Finals? -- Lou.

A: It was distressing at times Sunday regarding the lack of urgency. But that's what this time is, a team that has picked and chosen its moments over the second half of the season.

That's the problem! These guys are so arrogant that they think they can turn it on at any time. A REAL coach would not let that happen...
Knicks will win one more...book it. Would not be surprised if this goes to 7...we brought them all the way back from the dead thanks to cockiness by the players and no adjustments by our coach.

Is Doc Rivers a real coach? The Celtics have played the Hawks about a million times worse than we have. If Spo had the kind of series Doc is having against the Hawks, he'd be filed as the worst coach in history. Although, yesterday's game they actually looked good. But then we did in Game1 of this series. I'm just saying, you're blaming him for something other teams are just as guilty of. Only OKC and San Antonio have been handling their business, and only one of those two coaches would rate high on here. It's just a loss, not a sign of something greater. PEACE.

As JVG said in game. Spo is in a no win situation. They lose it's his fault, they win it's the great players.

And yet he continues to handle it manfully week in week out without the hystrionics.

I know. The torrent of negativity that floods this forum after each loss is soooooooo fun and healthy, right? At least give Spo a chance to fail again, and then spend the summer months ripping him to shreds. I'll join in with you. However, one loss on a bobbled play and everyone is up in arms again. Headlines will read, "World's worst coach loses most-important game." Meanwhile, we're up 3-1 and coming home. Perspective has been completely lost, but I guess I'm just dick-riding. PEACE.

So I guess we better win right? Did you get to finally see the whole game yet?

Nah. I watched the Melo highlights to see how Shane defended his makes. No clue how he looked on the misses. I'm just gonna tally the loss and move on to Game5. PEACE.

One loss and the board goes absolutely crazy. Damn it, we're doomed huh! Oh wait, we just lost one game to the Knicks, which is equivalent to losing to the Bobcats. Move on already.

Then I don't understand why it was cited in the first place since you guys ultimately won that series.

To just make an example that you never give up on your team, no matter what the ramifications are.
