Very nice. How far are you from Glendale Arena?

I live just north of LA. So, pretty far. The game(s) I could maybe go to would be here in LA. :D

Ah, I see. That would be nice rooting for Yotes at Staples Center. Brings back memories rooting for Suns at their arena. :D

They have a poll on a hockey forum who's the better goalie Smith, Quick or even. So, 49 people chose Jonathan Quick, 14 chose Mike Smith, and 30 said even.

This one is going 6-7 games. I have Phoenix because of Mike Smith. He doesn't give up cheapos.

I'm not very confident with this series knowing how good Kings have played so far. But I believe in Mike Smith he's an excellent goalie and like u stated doesn't allow cheap goals. In playoffs teams mostly scored on him through redirection or 2nd opportunities. Let's hope for a great series as I myself believe it will go 6-7 games.

Yeah LA's offense has looked good lately. Who's our best defender, Larsson or Morris?

From what I hear, Morris is our best defender. It was great seeing him score a goal in previous series. ;)

Larson is very young, going to be great watching him grow with this team.

It's interesting how close their save percentages are for the postseason and regular season.

Regular season Smith leads him by .001, .930 to .929

http://espn.go.com/nhl/statistics/playe ... asontype/2

Post season Quick leads by .001, .949 to .948

http://espn.go.com/nhl/statistics/playe ... rt/savePct

However, Smith has faced 400 shot attempts while Quick has only faced 274, so their defense much be a lot better than ours, or we must have faced tougher offenses. That is 45% more shots on our goal. I guess we might have played a few more games too though. The shot discrepancy for the reg season was around 10%.

Does anyone else believe the 8 days of rest is going to hurt the Kings, even just a little? I mean, they were on an incredible roll to start the playoffs. Then, right at the peak of momentum...... 8 days off. Most of the time, a couple days off is fantastic (especially during the playoffs). But over a week, and while they were playing ridiculously well. I'm keeping my fingers crossed this gives the 'Yotes a slight edge.

Coyotes needed the rest because they were banged up. So, I don't mind having us resting 5+ days. Kings also had a week off. :D

Since I'm a Suns fan I'm naturally paranoid. The league will want a LA/NY series.

Mike Smith won't allow it.
