Really? already? I thought we weren't allowed to trade until the Draft?

I think he will opt out for a MLE deal just to avoid being traded somewhere he doesn't want to be. You know he has a lot of pride and wants to be a starter. He will want to decide where he goes.
In other words we are going to have HUGE hole at the pg position if Jameer walks on us.

Yep as soon as your season is over, you are able to start making trades, obviously the other team's season needs to be over as well. Most teams just wait until the draft since lottery picks' values rise then as well.

Re: Official Speculation Thread (Pt. XXIII: Offseason Editio

So if I read this correctly, with Turk, Duhon, and Von having non-guaranteed contracts, we could potentially have only have Davis and JRich (who should be traded asap) on the books in 2013 for a combined salary of $12.6 mill. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. Regardless, we got mad cap space in 2013. That's huge leverage in our endeavor to acquire guys like Monta, Iggy, Smith. Even if we can't land them til 2013, we're still in very good position to do so eventually. As long as Dwight doesn't request a trade, we can perhaps put together a decent squad, in due time. I see 2013 as a light at the end of the tunnel.

Remember when you guys wouldn't trade Ryan for Nash or Ellis? Silly fanboys always fall in love....

oh man, don't remind me, I get so heated when I read those discussions... I'm still PO'd we didn't get Ellis at the trade deadline... I'm not going to waste my energy anymore arguing to Ryan-lovers about why I would have traded Ryan for Ellis... I like Ryan too, but come on... we needed Ellis imo.

naw... not because I don't want to play it... it's just because I hardly play as much xbox live (cuz I'm busy with grad school)... I'll go through spurts with xbox live; I'll go weeks playing everyday, and then I'll go weeks never playing... but I'm down for some "play with friends" team-up against the AI/CPU teams sometime this summer... those are fun.

To be honest, I don't think either team (GSW/PHX) would have done it anyway... It's the fact that people on this board didn't want it done, its laughable... the guy has proved he will disappear, but they wouldn't trade him for legit NBA stars...
