Tampa Rays (19-10) @ Yanks (15-13): We meet again

Woe is the Yanks pitching staff, 24th in ERA, 27th in quality starts, 23rd WHIP....and now, face the upstart Tampa Bay Rays who look a lot more focused, younger, and deeper. Yanks offense ranks in the top 10 of the league but has problems manufacturing runs. Teixiera hitting .222 makes me wonder if his best days at the plate are beyond him post-roid era.

When A-rod got beat out by the throw to end the KC Royals game in a loss, I feel that's a metaphor for the Yanks season...they need to dig deeper and feel a dire need. Only 3 losses separate these teams, Yanks are due to get it right...
