Basically, sign the extension or get dealt. I think it's a stupid strategy. Basically giving him an ultimatum to stick here with this scrub team or play in Brooklyn with D-Will. Seems like a no-brainer to me. I just don't see how we get Dwight help.

Anyone know where we can watch this at?

If Orlando do not want to go through this nightmare of a season then make the necessary changes to keep him around. And Howard has got to handle this next season better than he did this one.

Any senario where we think it is a smart decision to trade Howard because we "don't want to go through this nightmare of a season again" is an organization bound to lose.

We went through this nightmare of a season because Dwight wanted to be traded because his teammate sucks, he wants certain players here and he wants to play for a different coach--none of which, except for BBD, happened. If the very first thing we do as an organization is trade Dwight Howard before changing the FO then we truly deserve anything bad that happens here. This season has shown us that even with the drama, Dwight is better than we would have realized, therefore keep him. Dwight is a true game changer build a proper team around him. If he wants to be consulted on the moves you're making then so be it because other organizations do it with their players, so pattern yourselves after that, he doesn't even need to be an authoritative part in the decision making, I think him just being included will be fine with him. Show him that you're serious about it, even if that talk stems from trying to show him what we can do in the Summer of 2013, but whatever you do, you keep him. But do not start off the summer of 2012 with an ultimatum to Dwight not after the fact that it hasn't been 24 hours since we were bounced out of the 1st round in 5 games.

The very first player that needs to go is Duhon and I don't mean be included in a trade with Howard. No, Duhon is the very first Magic player that needs to go whether waived, buyout or traded for an expiring, don't care whichever one.

Dwight does not always put himself before the team or his teammates. This is the first year we've saw how unhappy Dwight has been and he's been pretty tame all the other years. But him not playing the last regular season games and the playoffs shows us just how important he truly is. So, we need to keep him whether we consider him selfish or not.

Think of it this way, if he goes to a new team, do we think that he'll be selfish? Do you think that he'll not make the necessary sacrifices to win a championship? Most important, do you want to be the opposing team trying to stop this selfish basketball player? Yeah, we say that our team have lost even with Dwight Howard on the team, but imagine an organization who has properly built a team around Howard, do you think if Orlando trades him and have to play him that the "hack-a-Howard" is going to work? I don't want this team going through Dwight or anyone superstar to try and win a championship without having a superstar on this roster. And the only superstar we need is Dwight.

Offseason speculation..otis gets canned, unfortunately stan is let go and a more player friendly coach is brought in like mcmillan to hold dwights hand and pat him on the head like a puppy. My thing is you can't go into an offseason without a gm, so if its going to happen then it needs to happen now. The most important thing is to improve the team so the puppy stays.

I find it kind of hypocritical by the Magic FO to say they don't want to go thru this Dwight drama again when all they had to do was trade him period. So to me their mostly to blame for not doing so.

Dwight drama stemmed from the leaked trade request. The grass was greener on the other side of the fence and Dwight wanted out. Three weeks before the trade deadline he rescinded his trade request. A day before the deadline he waived his ETO, an unprecedented move. He publicly apologized for the drama.

He is under contract for another year. The Magic own his Bird Rights and can offer him the most money next summer. The question is, can that advantage offset the lure of a fresh start that other teams could offer?

I posted on Wolves board if they have interest in Jrich and they actually would accept to deal Darko for him. That works for me too.

With D12, Darko and BBD we would have our frontcourt and could SnT Ryan, besides we would have to care about Jrich's contract in 2013.

Overpaid trash for overpaid trash.

I don't think we'll do any moves regarding the roster until we get a new GM. And that may take a while.

But at least Darko is an expiring contract, besides he will be in a contract year, so he will have to play OK to earn another good contract.

^ Darko want to head back overseas which for me makes it better if we can get him for JRich, means he would probably take less in a buyout.

That's true. It's a lateral move but I wouldn't mind it that much.
But I doubt Darko would accept to be back and go to the bench behind Dwight (he's not gonna play PF here :\ ).
