Alex is about to fire somebody with these quotes

#Magic CEO Alex Martins: "We have to find a way to get back to the East Con Finals and the NBA Finals. So everything has to be evaluated."

I agree.

Not sure Foyle is going to be able to trade away his former teammates, which consists of JRich/JJ/Turk/Meer/Howard...

Although I guess I shouldn't jump to that conclusion.

I think it's important to have a business minded GM who doesn't make moves on a personal basis (cough, Otis, cough)....

Foyle is a very intelligent guy .. But I'd rather have someone with experience. Someone who has been in this situation before

Donnie Walsh FTW

Hopefully Foyle won't have the same GS Warriors fetish that Otis has.

Yes, hire Walsh for a season or two to do the dirty work, let Foyle study under a REAL GM, and then promote him when Walsh leaves.

............Are they (Please Use More Appropriate Word)?

Do they not realize exactly what's at stake here?

I like Foyle, and if we were rebuilding or already in a winning position, maybe.......But you don't hire a first timer at such a critical juncture of the franchise's future. Especially considering that he was under Otis' wing. We could be walking right into the Otis Era Part Deux.

Stupid.

I'm excited about Foyle tbh. Dude knows his stuff, fits with our culture (for good or bad), and fits with an evolving FO vs a train wreck throw out the baby with the bath water. It comes across as keeping the good from the past 5 years while making the needed adjustments from the derail of the past two.

At least Foyle can't do any worse than Otis?

He learned under Otis, so unfortunately, he could.

This organization is it's own worst enemy.

SO stupid if true. Our front office is a joke. Why would they take another gamble on an uncertain GM when this is the most crucial time for us. They are just amateur.
