Tier 1 and 2 will start at the above listed time as will all RFAs.

RFA Agent = rocdogg - rocdogg05@yahoo.com - same rules about emails as stated above will apply

RFAs will have 36 hours to be matched by team holding rites.

IF anyone else would like to be an agent for this please let me know ASAP - roc

5.. Salary cap will be $55mil, Lux Tax = $65mil(teams pay an incremental tax that increases with every $5 million above the tax threshold - $1.50, $2.50, $3.50, etc.)
6.. MLE = $5mil, Mini MLE = $2.5mil, BAE = $2mil, Vet Min = $854,389, Rookie Min = $473,604, Rookie contracts will be based on the 2011 class for all future classes due to the low cap.

14. You can tag one of your vet players(needs to be in league at least 6 years) as a Franchise player and offer that player 1 more year + $1mil more per year than is otherwise allowed with no cap hit.
15. Vet Franchise players will automatically get a no trade clause for the first 3 years of contract.

Offers for your own Free Agent can be for a max of 5 years with 7.5% raises and if another team's FA then max offer = 4 years with 4.5% raises

How long will the tiers last? 36 hours? 48? 24? And whats the matching time for RFAs?
I am not sure how long the tiers will last. It all comes down to if SamBone has help or not. Tier 2 will obviously take up the bulk of signings.

as for matching times on RFAs have not decided whether it will be 24 or 48 hours.

Hedo Turkoglu is a free agent (was just on a min for the Spurs)

Brad Miller, Ben Walace & Jeff Foster have retired so prob should be removed from the list.

Ok, usually we have a set number of hours that we have to send in offers. I may not be able to send mine in for a few hours after that, and I also am working on a S&T, so I was just curious to see when they would start signing to figure out how much time I had.

Also, I don't think Brendan Haywood should be on the FA list. He was amnestied last game, but he is still on TORs roster this game.

There will be no SnTs in the game per se. You can sign the player and then later trade them but not part of the actual FA process. There is no set time limit to get your bids in but obviously if you wait too long it could lead to you missing out.

Nobody will just sign on day 1 that is UFA as they will want to see competing bids if possible. RFA are another story since their own team can match. IF a RFA receives a max bid on day 1 they will sign on day 1. IF you are planning on offering your own RFA the max you do not even need to send the bid. Just post the signing in this thread.

and

thanks for the player info luke and kees will take care of those on the list right now.

there is no limit on how long a tier will last. FA is now open, players are going to listen to offers and some may start to decide on accepting offers as early as 6pm EST Friday (no one will sign before then). But if a oplayer wants to hold off and not sign the only offer on the table, he may decide to wait till the next tier opens up. Tier 1 and 2 are listening to offers as we speak.

PLEASE list your cap situation and sell your team to the player. He wants to be wanted. I will respond to every offer to confirm receiving it, if a few hours go by without confirmation, hit me up (remeber i wourk during the day EST, so those confirmations may take a little longer)

Any questions, just ask, and good luck

going to post this here, so everyone knows. I would like roc to confirm so EVERYONE is on the same page.

You need the cap space prior to signing a player, saying you will 7b amnesty a player, does not give you an extra $5mil in cap

ex. if you have $12mil in cap, you can not offer DWill the $16.5mil max saying you will 7b amnesty him to make the contract only 11.5mil. You actually need the $16.5mil prior to signing him, then if you 7b amnesty him that will create the extra cap space to go after someone else
